"We had a great stay at The School House. The room was very comfortable and Helen was very helpful in providing a delicious breakfast so we could leave promptly to see the Manchester Marathon. There is a pleasant walk nearby (recommended by Helen) and we had a great meal at The Fox - just a short walk away. "
"The hotel area smelt of curry and beer with sticky floors, which was not a good start.
The person at reception was confused why I was there, then realised I was the last person they were expecting. When I did get a key, there was silence before I asked where the rooms were.
The bathroom smelt mouldy (which it was), the shower plumbing needed to be cleared as it was blocked, and the sink plug locked in place.
The steps down to the fire escape had 'stuff' stored on them and at ground level more...
