"What an amazing cabin ! We had an incredible experience staying here with our pup. Spotless clean, comfortable and Sean the host was very punctual with his responses. I’m planning to book again soon. Our pup loved the property too and could be off leash the entire time. What a picture perfect place, there wasn’t a single negative. Extremely pleased! "This location was perfect for my visit to the area. My cabin was super cute and comfortable. It was a little smaller than I envisioned in the photos, but comfortable nonetheless. I had all the blankets I needed to stay warm. The room heater is the best! The two nights I stayed, it rained a lot and was cool. I stayed high and dry and toasty warm. The shared bathroom was clean and close by. It had everything I needed. The hot shower was great, with plentiful water and water pressure.The owners were always available for questions, very responsive, and extremely helpful.For those looking for alternative healing modalities, Debra explained the circle of healing they have near the cabins, and said it has a powerful vortex force that manifests itself in interesting ways. They will also add a copper pyramid in the future. While that's not my speed, I mention it for those who are interested. Thank you for my comfy stay!"
Lakeside Gem: Hot Tub & Game Room in Hancock

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly, responsive, and thorough, gave us a great orientation of the home when we first arrived. This is the perfect blend of private but not remote, and my family had a great time hiking and enjoying the lake. The house is incredibly well-stocked, with everything from linens and blankets and towels to firewood, spices, books and games, etc. I definitely hope to be back for a longer stay soon! The only issue we had during our stay was that some of the adult men said they had trouble sleeping in the alcove beds on the second floor, so maybe avoid assigning those beds to bigger people. Other than that, there were some complaints about there not being enough lighting in some of the shared bedrooms or the banquet hall. I think this could be easily fixed if you plan to bring some nightlights or a lamp, especially considering nearly everything else is already provided for you. From sunrise to midnight there was something beautiful to explore or watch on the grounds, and this was the most comfortable and relaxed stay I’ve had in a while. We were a group of 27 people and the home never felt crowded and it never felt like there was nowhere for a group to gather. The home is beautiful and clean on both the inside and outside, and Scott and Ann have done an incredible job curating a wonderful experience for their guests. Could not recommend enough!"
