The dog-friendly home is right in the beating heart of Keswick, one of the UK's adventure capitals, and surrounded by independent shops, tempting eateries and local produce stalls. Grab fish and chips (350 metres) and savour them back at the property or spend an afternoon exploring Keswick Museum and Art Gallery (0.5 miles) and the famous Derwent Pencil Museum (150 metres). The River Greta flows through the town, while the shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) await with lake cruises and self-guided boating trips. Keen walkers can tackle the 10-mile circuit around the lake or head for Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles). Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles) is also a fab option for boating and paddleboarding.

Part of a larger complex, the apartment has a split-level open-plan living area for spending time with fellow guests after days out exploring. Stretch out on the grand leather corner sofa or one of the easy chairs and settle down with a film on the Smart TV or play some music from the DAB radio. Take a step down to the stylish kitchen and dining area, where you can share meals at the solid oak table. The master bedroom has high beamed ceilings, a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. A spacious twin with zip and link beds (can be made into a superking bed on request) and a further twin is accessed by a step down. All bedrooms are kitted out with solid oak furniture and luxury linens. Completing the accommodation is a fully tiled family bathroom with a rainfall shower over the bath. You’ll also have a handy utility area with a washer/dryer.

Outside, you’ll have access to a large shared garden with furniture and play equipment to keep younger visitors entertained. There is private parking for two cars, and secure bike storage is available on a first-come, first-served basis by prior arrangement.
