This was the best place we stayed in the Keys! We loved it. It was quiet and beautiful. Everything was clean and the location is perfect. We will visit again the next time we are in Key Largo. Thank you.
If you need to choose a place to stay in Key Largo, this is it! Great spot, excellent communication with host and property manager, and supportive maintenance folks make for a great visit. After living in the Keys for 30 years and deciding to move North to be near kids, we come back for a visit every year. We always choose this resort. It has everything that is the keys, beautiful bayside sunsets, spacious landscaped grounds, fishing, swimming and cute Keysie cottages.
We had a wonderful time on this property! Would definitely come again. We stayed with our son who turned 11 and our 3 dogs. We also brought our boat from Ft. Lauderdale. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming.
We were staying with friends near west palm and wanted a quick getaway. Dream bay resort was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. Felt like a tropical island. And the sunsets were magnificent. The cottage was spotless and convenient. Many things were walking distance or close by. I would highly recommend Dream Bay Resort for couples or family gatherings.
We loved having our own private paradise! Very relaxing. The only thing is the swimming area was not the same as described online. We were still able to enjoy the water. We give the deck house and property 10/10!
Deckhouse was super cute, clean, and very comfortable for our family of 5. It had everything we needed as far as appliances and even a washer and dryer which is always handy. The property is very peaceful and close to many good restaurants. The dock was well-maintained and kept our boat safe and steady through the bad storms that passed through during our stay. The “beach” swimming area was nice though it was a bit too grassy for my taste. Everyone working there was super friendly and helpful. Would return!
This bayside gem offers nice accommodations, friendly staff, fully equipped “cottages,” gorgeous keys sunsets and is even pet friendly. It is very unusual to find such pleasant private access to the water in the Keys. To be accurate, the salt air has mildly beat up metal bits in the cottage we stayed in and they need a bit of TLC, but overall, you could not ask for more when visiting the keys. If you want to stay in the upper keys, this is the place! We will most certainly be back.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
This property is at least a 20-year old single wide mobile home. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living space are very small. The ceilings are 7-feet high and claustrophobic. While the home was very clean on arrival, and the staff was friendly, the home is showing signs of wear and disrepair. The ceilings are definitely cracking and in need of repair. The television remote control would not adjust the audio volume, and I had to call management. While a pleasant young man did arrive and attempted to repair the problem, the remote control remained inconsistent and was very frustrating. As I said, the property was clean, pet friendly, and secured by a code-controlled gate which was nice. However, at 500.00 per night, this property is definitely overpriced. I will not go back.
Great location and perfect for a quiet family getaway
We stayed here in Late April/May '25 with my wife, daughter, friend and our dog. The place was perfect! The rooms are definitely big enough to accommodate 4 adults and a dog. The house was decently equipped with dishes, cutlery and glassware for those that want to eat in. The washer/dryer was a nice touch in case you wanted to wash you towels etc. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for us. With being pet friendly and having a yard that we could let our dog out was just awesome. The grounds themselves had more than enough loungers and permanent huts for shade, etc. The concrete pier you see in the photos is a great way to watch the sunset or fish. There is a bait shop at the top of the road (about a 2 min walk) and you will catch your limit of grunts...they are everywhere. The area is good, with lots of great restaurants...excellent Key Lime Pie everywhere. If you are a walker....that is the only drawback. There are no real paths to walk on and you are on the highway, so be careful.Overall, I would highly recommend this location and we had a great time.
Onsite host, Tom was the best
Met us upon arrival and he and staff were readily available during our stay to answer questions about the property, neighborhood dining and excursion to Key West and his wife, Mary made Manatees surface for our viewing right on the beachside property- magical and awesome!
We were very happy with our stay. The property has multiple units on site but we never felt cramped or limited on space. Tom and Brian were available to help with anything we needed and the dock is perfect if bringing your own boat. Great location, great people, 5 stars!
This place is like a little paradise! Quite, peaceful and super clean! First time kayaking we loved it ! We got to see manatees what an experience. We are already talking about our next trip there. Tom the property manager couldn’t have been nicer. And best of all we got to bring our two doggies 😀
This Dream bay resort property is so beautiful. We loved hanging out at the waterfront teeki hut, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. Their is plenty of room for your boat, trailer parking and your vehicle. The house was clean with plenty of room for 6 and the beds were comfy. Bryan was very kind and helpful. We would definitely go back.

More pros than cons
Overall the property is rather nice, great location. Enjoyed the access to the water, dock, and kayaks. Per the advertisement I knew we'd be sharing the property with guests in a few other houses; however, I wasn't aware that we'd also be sharing it with several other guests that had their boats docked along the property's boat slips. Made for some crowded days around the small beach area. Not bad, just not as peaceful as we had hoped for. House is dated more than the pictures show. AC had to run constantly and couldn't keep up. Mid to upper 80's outside, but the internal temp on the thermostat showed the house at 83 to 84 most of the day. It cooled off at night, which was fine as we spent most of the daytime away from the house; however, if you're planning on spending time inside during the day just plan accordingly. Could be an issue if you have indoor pets or small children. Check in process went well. Just follow their guidelines and contact them upfront. They'll be there to meet you and get you situated right away. Wasn't real sure how checkout worked, but a small checklist we found in the house said to leave by 10:00 a.m. so that's what we did. Didn't see anyone to checkout with, so we just packed up the vehicle, took out the trash, organized the towels, put the clean dishes away (dishwasher didn't work), and hit the road. Not my greatest experience for the price, but not the worse either.
