About this property
Mariners Club Townhouse, Unit 603, Epic Amenities, Tennis & Indoor Pickleball
The Florida Keys are located off the southern coast of Florida. They are a string of tropical islands stretching about 120 miles south / southwest, forming the southernmost part of the continental United States.
The Calusa Indians inhabited these islands over 6,000 years ago. In the early 1500’s the conquistador, Ponce De Leon sailed these waters and nearly wiped out the tribe. Famous pirates such as Edward Teach better known as Blackbeard and Jimmy Buffett frequented the Islands regularly. Some believe a pirate treasure is buried on one of the over 1700 islands.
In the early 1900’s, the Florida Keys were only accessible by boat. This changed with the completion of the Henry Flagler Overseas Railway in 1912. In 1935, a hurricane destroyed Flagler’s Overseas Railway, and a decision was made to convert the railway into an automobile roadway. U.S. Highway 1, also known as the Overseas Highway, runs from Miami to Key West.
One of our most famous residents, Ernest Hemingway, chose to call the Florida Keys home. He was a renowned author and in 1953 won a Pulitzer Prize for, The Old Man and the Sea. Hemingway was instrumental in putting the keys on the map as he often wrote about his adventures in his writings.
The Florida Keys are commonly referred to as the “Diving Capital of the World.” The expansive Florida reef is the only living coral reef in North America, and the third largest coral reef in the world. The diverse marine life, along with some spectacular shipwrecks, is the reason Key Largo is a world class dive destination. Not to be outdone, the Florida Keys are also world renowned for fishing, due to the number of world records, and the number of different species just off our shores. Many consider the Keys to also be the “Sport fishing Capital of the World.”
The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary protects approximately 2,900 square nautical miles of coastal and ocean waters from the estuarine waters of south Florida to the Dry Tortugas National Park. Within the boundaries of the sanctuary, lie spectacular, unique, and nationally significant marine resources including North America's only coral barrier reef, extensive seagrass beds, mangrove-fringed islands, and more than 6,000 species of marine life. The sanctuary also protects pieces of our nation’s history such as shipwrecks and other archeological treasures. Visitors to the sanctuary are encouraged to take advantage of the many recreational activities this amazing ecosystem has to offer, including world-class diving, swimming, snorkeling, and fishing.
The Mariner's Club is a unique, resort style property that allows its owners to rent their units to guests and extend their club benefits. The property has been recently updated. The townhouse is perfect for 2 families with kids. The unit also has two sleeper sofa's in the upstrairs and downstairs living rooms.

Beautiful pool area and views of the coast. Great amenities for families. Condo has lots of space.Location is tricky. Traffic is a bit cumbersome in this area, plan for longer than expected drives to other Keys if you’re planning day trips heading south.
We had such a fun and relaxing time. Swam laps everyday in the beautiful pool. 4 of us each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Excellent location to enjoy the keys. Came home to winter very refreshed. The owner was very helpful with suggestions to explore the keys.
We had a great experience staying here, Eric was very accommodating and everything felt very accurate to the description. The property felt safe, and is well kept. The house was VERY clean and we were comfortable, despite some needs for various updates/replacements. I would 10/10 recommend this home and Erick as a host!
Wonderful property. The 8 of of us had plenty of space to hang out together and 4 bedrooms were plenty spacious. Owner was very responsive to questions. Pools and amenities were a great bonus. Lots to do with a couple of marinas nearby and plenty of restaurants.
This rental was great for us! We are 4 friends from college that live in different parts of the US. We get together once a year to catch up and enjoy some time away. The host is organized and has a welcome packet that describes the area and lists many of the local establishments to try. Check-in was easy and we got into the unit right away. The combined kitchen, dinning room and kitchen offered us a great hangout space to catch up. Couches were very comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was plenty of hot water with all 4 showers being used at the same time. We had a great time and would stay here again.
The townhouse was just perfect for my family of 5. Erick was a wonderful host and was so enthusiastic to share the best ways to spend our days in the Keys. Mariners club was very nice. The large pool was fantastic and really never crowded. The gym was perfect. My family used it every morning. We were happy the house had pickleball supplies so we could play. So fun!! We had a wonderful time! The only downside was the sargassum that washed ashore and rotted that really made it impossible to use the small beach at the club. The smell was unreal! But really not the fault of anyone. Just nature! But yuck!
Over all the property is at a very convenient location close from points of interest, the property is large and acomodate comfortably 9 people the cleaning is average though there was cigar ashes on the second floor nalcony at arrival, the maintenance is poor, with rusty balcony ceiling fans, the barbecue is rusty and the flame disipators destroyed from corrosion, loose door handles, closet doors falling apart in second floor in the same floor the shower tub backs up,the dish washer is not fastened so it tilt forward almost hurting us,the refrigerator has a detach door seal and a sharp peace of trim sticking out on top,the smalles refrigerator was pack with ice built up,we had a package delivered to the property that got lost since the postal worker said was delivered and reicived by a cleaning person, the surrounding areas are average maintained.
