Things to Know
A few things we would like you to know before you arrive, so your stay is as comfortable as possible.
🌡️ Colorado mountain homes are not typically equipped with central air conditioning. Thanks to the cool alpine climate, summer evenings generally range between 45° and 55°F. Opening the windows allows fresh mountain air to naturally cool the home, and four portable air conditioning units and portable fans are provided for added comfort.
🏔️ Keystone sits at about 9,300 feet. We recommend taking your first day gently and drinking plenty of water while you adjust to the altitude.
🚗 From mid-April to mid-November the garage has open parking. From mid-November to mid-April, one heated garage space is included; additional vehicles can use the River Run Gondola lot next door, which is free by day and charges an overnight fee set by Keystone Resort.
🏊 The pool, hot tubs, sauna, and fitness room are shared Silver Mill amenities with hours set by the building.
🚙 Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended from October through May.
