Riverhouse is an elevated home a stone's throw from the Kiawah River within Kiawah Island's gated Inlet Cove community. Sip your morning coffee on the screened porch or back deck and feel your stresses melt away as you enjoy the birdsong in the Lowcountry trees that separate the Riverhouse from the nearby Kiawah River. Guests of Riverhouse are welcome to enjoy the Inlet Cove community amenities (subject to seasonal operating times) -- including the community pool, kiddie pool, pavilion, sunset viewing deck and boat dock. Best of all, Riverhouse is a 10 minute walk away from the pristine Kiawah Island beach on a trail through a beautiful maritime forest. Come, get away from it all, connect with nature and immerse yourself in the relaxing splendor of a Kiawah Island getaway.

Guests walk up the exterior steps of the home from the driveway to the front porch and enter the front door into the dining room & living room areas. There's an open floor plan layout with hardwood floors between the dining and living room areas. All three bedrooms -- as well as the kitchen, the screened porch and the home's two bathrooms -- are located off the living room & dining room area of the home. There is a back deck accessible from the screened porch and the master suite.

Inlet Cove is a gated community on Kiawah Island near the restaurants & shopping in Freshfields Village and Bohicket Marina. Guests at Riverhouse will also receive gate passes to access the restaurants, golf, tennis & shopping on Kiawah Island. Parking for up to 4 cars on the driveway is included in the rental rate.

COMMUNITY POOL IS OPEN APRIL THROUGH NOVEMBER.

Great updated Inlet Cove cottage

We love Inlet Cove and this cottage was the best so far. Nice and clean, a bit of a view of the marsh and river, great beds and perfect location.

Great location

The place is located in a great location! Close to the store and beach access, the only 2 things you might need. Everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Plus of having a community pool close by. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for our family. The home was spotless and well-maintained, with wonderful amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, and we felt completely safe throughout our visit. Its central location was ideal for exploring many South Carolina attractions, which was a huge plus. Perfect Location

Wonderful vacation home

My family has been coming to Kiawah for 37 years. Riverhouse is one of the best homes that we have rented. The house was super clean and beautifully decorated. Pleasant Stay

We spent three days at River House. The home was very clean uncomfortable. We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen seemed to be a well stocked. It was just a short walk to the beach and close to the grocery store and shopping. The communication with the property management company was excellent. We would definitely consider staying again.

Wonderful vacation home

Riverhouse is a beautiful property. Updated kitchen and baths. Amazing decor for a rental property. Layout is perfect. Owners suite on one side.. 2 other beds and joint bath on other. Central living space had ample seating for us all! Property manager was reachable and immediately responsive!!

Peaceful getaway

Loved this house! Plenty of room for my family of 4 and fur baby. The location is in a private neighborhood. The house is exactly as it is pictured online. The property was clean and well maintained. We walked the dog to the beach everyday. You can’t beat the location that is a short drive or bike ride to Freshfield Village. We went for spring break so less people were there which made it even more relaxing. The owners responded very quickly to any questions that we had about the property before renting. We are definitely planning on renting again.

Great place needs a few update

We had a great time. This home sleeps six very comfortably; the den area could use two new chairs to sit comfortably; the two they have are incredibly uncomfortable, making hanging out as only a family of four hard. I cooked breakfast one morning; there were only two sautee pans to use, and they were awful and could not take heat without burning...It would be great if they updated with a few new pots and pans. Everything else was excellent. Check-in was easy, and communication was perfect. The only reason we would not return is the den not being a great spot to hang out together at night and be comfortable.

Pretty But Not Practical

Our family enjoys Inlet Cove and has stayed in various cottages over the years. We had never used iTrip Vacations and were impressed with the level of service. This house is pretty - however, it lacks function. No window coverings in the bathrooms. No dresser in the master or double full. The closets don’t have user friendly shelving. The washer and drier set has about one-third the capacity of a standard set. There are about 3 dozen wine glasses - yet only 6 sets of flatware and 8 coffee mugs. The Roku TV in the guest king does not connect to the internet (apparently this is a known issue). Hopefully the owners will invest in furnishing/appliances that make it more functional for active families. Huge potential but definitely a miss for us.

Great for family beach week

This house was exactly what we needed for our family beach week. Clean and beautifully decorated, the house was very welcoming for our family. The area was so tropical and cool, great for evening walks and bike rides. The beach was easily accessible by bike and the pool was just a block walk away. Also the dock by the pool was so lovely to take our after dinner drinks to and watch the sunset! Definitely would recommend this house!!!

The house had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Nice pots, pans and knives which is always hard to find in a rental. Everything was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We would stay here again. I highly recommend walking to the community dock for the sunsets!

The river house was a great location, close to the beach and also the river. We enjoyed being able to sit out at the kayak deck and watch the sunset. The home itself was very comfortable with a nice screened in porch. We had everything we needed as far as the kitchen goes and we stayed for three full weeks.

Surrenity at Sundown

My wife and I have been coming to Kiawah on and off for the last 30 years. We generally come off-season for the warm weather, beauty and quiet and the many walking trails. This year, we invited a couple who are very close friends. The house was perfect, with the two en suite bedrooms with king beds. The house was very clean, well appointed and spacious. It was a nice short walk to the beach. The sunsets from the porch and back deck were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again! Thx!

Great Location and Communication

You can't really beat this location. We were easily able to walk to Beachwalker park for beach access - very convenient if you're lucky enough to catch the dolphins strand feeding at low tide. Hosts were very responsive when we had issues, which were minor. The neighborhood dock was perfect for sunsets. Would recommend.

Great Spot to Relax and Reset!

The Riverhouse offered a comfortable and well-appointed interior along with close proximity to river and beach which allowed for great opportunity to disconnect with everyday life and reconnect with nature. The house “lives” like a treehouse nestled in the trees complete with a screened porch and open deck both offering water views. The inside offers plenty of seating and dining options along with ample sleeping spaces in comfortable beds! The kitchen was well stocked with all the items you need to feel at home. Riverhouse is a close walk to the dock for gathering in rocking chairs to take in the sunset, fish, or try your hand at kayaking. The beach is a just a short walk away! The community was quiet and peaceful during our stay in November. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had (which were minor and did not affect the comfort of our stay).

Secret Oasis

We loved our stay and Inlet Cove at number 4 -At this time in November, it's probably the most well appointed rental we have ever stayed in. Wonderful bedding and pillows. lots of thoughtful shampoos and such the basics of everything for a week for us, including dishwasher and washing machine soap paper towel toilet paper was super Duper. We had an issue with a TV and the staff of Itrip was immediately in touch with us to get everything fixed, and that was on a late Monday night! The house has been updated master bathroom, remodeled. Very comfortable L-shaped living room, sofa, beach, chairs, beach towels, just about everything here and a view right across the street a block to the pool. A little secret place to watch the sun go down over the marsh behind. The pool is second to none.! We were able to bring our little Chihuahuas who were in heaven! Lots of great, great walking all around here and no alligators on the brackish water!
