Family vacation

Our son, daughter-in-law and 4 of their 5 children stayed in this unit. Was beautiful and so close to the pool. They had a wonderful time and plan to visit again next year.

Great stay at Maui Kamaole

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamole. The condo is decorated nicely and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable and we appreciated the A/C. We had a small issue with a kitchen appliance and iTrip responded immediately. The condo is close to everything. We enjoyed both nice pools at the complex. My only complaint is everything needs a deep cleaning.

Great place to stay!

Nice condo! Great layout for a large family to all have comfortable beds to sleep in. Ideally located by the pool and not too long of a hike to the beach. We added some beach chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys, which are the only things I really felt it didn't have - the kitchen is well stocked and the condo is clean and has lots of pillows, blankets, and towels. Would definitely stay again!

Pristine and comfortable

We had a fantastic opportunity to stay at Maui Kamaole this past February. This unit was sparking clean and decorated so nicely it made us feel right at home. The location is ideal for anything on the island, the unit was spacious for the four us. We loved that our girls could hang out upstairs in the loft and we had the down stairs. The deck in the front was lovely to relax and unwind with a glass of wine. A short walk brings you to a wonderful beach and an ideal place to catch a sunset

Great Time had by all

The pictures and description were accurate. Almost everything you might need was there, which was nice. The different areas made it nice to be able to have a little space from the group if you wanted at the end or start of the day. It was a short walk to get to the beach and we definitely made use of that- looking at tide pools at sunrise, playing in the water during the day and watching some beautiful sunsets. We rented a car and found it was easy to get around to the various areas of Maui.

Excellent place to stay in Maui

We really enjoyed our stay - excellent location on the southern end of Kihei and you could just walk to either Kam III or Mana Kai beach in just a few minutes. Two large pools and hot tubs and lots of BBQs - perhaps a few too many pool rules but nonetheless excellent layout for pools. The condo itself was clean, spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary pots/pans and household appliances. Very spacious condo that easily sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids but we were only 2 adults and 1 child. Lovely lanai area and very private and quiet.

Premium experience - WOW

This is probably the nicest and best equipped rental we've ever stayed in anywhere. The furnishings and decor is what you would expect in a high end vacation home and the kitchen was equipped with nothing but the best of everything. Maui Kamaole is perfectly situated in south Kihei. It's a short walk into great restaurants and shops in Kihei and a 2 minute drive (or slightly longer walk) in to the premium upscale area of Maui, Wailea (shops, Grand Wailea). The beaches and sunset views are a very short walk from the condos and are some of the best on the entire island. We've stayed in Kihei several times and it's the most conveniently located spot on the entire island to get to all the best of Maui. We would definitely come back here again and again.

Mayi Family Visit

The condo itself was large and nicely appointed. The major problem was that the air conditioning units didn’t work. I told management about it on a Monday and nothing was done about it when we left on Thursday. The only room that had any kind of air conditioning was the master bedroom, so everyone had to go in that room to cool off. The fan in the master bedroom didn’t work, which was also reported and was never fixed. It’s apparent that the air conditioning units need to be replaced. The appliances are also old and should be replaced. The screen door on the living room lanai also needs to be fixed. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone based on the heat factor in this unit.

Loved Kihei

We had a great stay. The check-in process was super easy. The extra goodies- beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.- we’re greatly appreciated. Traveling with 2 toddlers so the washer and dryer were well used. We left a pack n play so hopefully that is available for other guests. It took us a day to figure out how to effectively use the room AC units to cool the entire unit. And it took 2 days before my 3 yo figured out how to turn the light dimmer switches up. This was our first stay in Kihei and we loved it! Turtle Town beach is AMAZING. Get there before 7:30 and you can get a parking space. There is tons of shade, the snorkeling is phenomenal, and the waves are great for young kids.

Awesome Long Term Stay!

I stayed in this unit for two months and fully enjoyed my time on Maui. This unit is great because it has access to decent tennis courts and an amazing public pool/hot tub. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. Air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms. When we first arrived, we connected to the recommended WiFi connection but it was quite slow (less than 5 mbps down). Someone in my group realized that it was slow because we were using a 2 ghz connection instead of the 5 ghz. We were able to switch to the 5 ghz connection and had a much better experience (40-50 mbps down). However making this switch required us to successfully guess the password of the router. A note to the host: I recommend you reexamine how your wifi router is setup. Using the recommended connection, guests will have a bad experience.

Nice stay, good location

Kamaole is a very nice development to stay. This units location near upper pool was very nice. Unit is a bit dated and some issues with noisy plumbing and bathroom fans. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Fabulous location! Great for families

This condo is very nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with lots of beautiful dishes, serving bowls, utinsels, etc. All the furnishings are very high end but do show wear and tear due to it being a vacation rental. It is wonderful having 2 beds upstairs and a seperate bedroom downstairs. The condo is extremely quiet and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The pools are fabulous as is the 5 minute walk to watch the sunset! The lanai is amazing great for morning coffee and an evening drink. Also, the AC is fantastic! The only reason I am marking the condo down was the cleanliness upon arrival. The condo could really use a deep cleaning, carpets, walls, baseboards, dusting, and the master bathtub really needs scrubbed. Also, there is only one decent beach chair although the clip is broke but it is useable. It would be nice to have at least a couple to use. Overall, it is extremely comfortable and nice condo.

Great location!

Wonderful location and spacious, well decorated condo. The grounds are beautiful! Our concerns were promptly dealt with but we continued to have issues with the tv. The instructions were not helpful. The ice maker didn’t work in the fridge and we had to buy a bag of ice. There was only one wine glass when we arrived but we were quickly provided with 4 more. We just thought these issues should have been checked before we got there. All in all I would recommend this location and would stay there again.

Great amenities, clean, quiet complex

We enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamaole in unit J201. The unit was in good condition and very roomy. It was stocked with good pots/pans/dishes and some spices. The rules at the pool are better for adults and seniors than little kids but we didn’t have any problems.
