Sugar Beach Resort #PH-14 is a penthouse suite towered on the sixth floor and located on the front row, inner-end location of the complex. From the oversized balcony, you are just a stones-throw away from the water. This panoramic, 180 degree ocean view is perfect for outdoor dinning, watching sunsets, or observing the whales in season! Sugar Beach Resort #PH-14 is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo that can sleep up to four guests. The unit has a full kitchen, washer-dryer, central AC, and an oceanfront balcony. There is a king bed in the Master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom. The king bed includes a pillow top mattress. Unit has cable TV, stereo system, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Long distance calling to the US Mainland and Canada is included. The unit also comes equipped with basic beach equipment you will need to explore any of Maui's pristine beaches. A $200 refundable security deposit is required for this unit.
This condo fronts a long white sand beach called Sugar Beach which is perfect for long walks, sunsets and fun in the sun.
Same day bookings (meaning arrival is within 48 hours of making the reservation) requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Great condo and location!

My husband and 2 teenage boys loved our vacation and stay at Sugar Beach Resort. We also preferred it over our last vacation at Lahaina. The 6th floor penthouse has amazing views, large lanai, good central air, comfortable beds, and is well stocked with all the basic necessities. We would return to this condo PH14 in a heartbeat!

The unit had everything we needed to entertain friends and spend a relaxing week. The kitchen was well stocked and the common area was spacious. Jean was incredibly responsive and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised by the great swimming beach and opportunity to walk in either direction.

Another great stay!

Sugar Beach Resort is our go to Maui place to stay. First time we stayed in this unit. Great view and layout. The kitchen island was a nice upgrade. Very comfortable unit. Manager was very responsive and helpful. Woukd definitely book this unit again.

What a view!

Our recent stay in Penthouse 14 at the Sugar Beach Resort was wonderful! It was clean, well-stocked with needed supplies, and the view just can't be beat. Groundskeepers were consistently keeping everything in top shape. We loved the Kihei area of Maui and would return to Sugar Beach Resort and this unit without hesitation!

The unit could use an update on the flooring but it worked. We did contact the rental agency for 1 issue and the responded quickly and offered to take care of it the next day. If you want beach front with a view this checks all the boxes. 1 thing missing was a box of tissue's, we never stayed anywhere that these were not provided. So for those that stayed after us your welcome.

Sugar Beach is our favorite place to stay on Maui. The condos, beach and location are perfect.

This corner condo was everything we had hoped for. We like to eat in and there was a lot of good quality cookware and service ware for our family. The condo was very clean and had plenty of supplies for our 2 week stay. We enjoyed the corner unit because we could easily keep an eye on our grandkids. The views from the lanai were stunning from the nightly sunsets, incredible whale viewing and the daily outriggers rowing past. Even the rain didn't stop our morning walks on the beach. Our only complaint is that the sauna was closed for repair and grandpa was disappointed. Otherwise it was our best Maui trip ever.

Lovely condo

Sugar Beach resort property was very well kept up. Penthouse 14 was very clean and had beautiful views. The management team we dealt with were wonderful. Very communicative. The only downfall with staying at this location is it’s very windy in the afternoon. The beach is long for taking long walks. It is not very wide. KIHEI is a very good centrally located area however, it is somewhat quiet. If you’re looking for a well populated area, this is not the place for you. For me and my family it was wonderful because you could drive to the populated areas, but come back to the peace and quiet. You do need a rental car if you plan on going places as you have to drive to get anywhere. The restaurant on property was good food and good service. Maui sights were very helpful setting up a snorkel putting for us. I would come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an absolutely lovely unit. It is spacious and comfortable with nice amenities. The kitchen appears to be recently updated with granite countertops, modern tile back splash, nice cabinets, etc. It was stocked with plenty of cookware, storage containers, some seasonings, dish soap and garbage bags for the week and more. The bedrooms are comfortable. The unit is located on a quiet beach which is long enough for nice beach walks. Sugar Beach is centrally located which provided easy access to many of the island's attractions. The only drawback was the wifi. We had trouble getting it to work and filled out a service request on the rental agency's app but they never contacted us to resolve the issue.

Amazing and peaceful

We are so happy we chose this property for our first visit to Maui. Sugar Beach was beautiful and peaceful. We loved walking along the undeveloped beach exploring among the rocks and tide pools to the northwest and walking to the farmers market, ABC store and shaved ice stand to the Southeast. It was a short drive to the shops, restaurants, aquarium and harbor. The property was as described and communication with the property manager could not have been better.
