"Absolutely great stay! Very welcoming and attentive team. The room was great, comfortable. Best water pressure we’ve ever had. Breakfast was great, the restaurants were great. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thanks Caroline!"

"Great location, lovely staff and fantastic breakfast. Room was a little dated, but full of all the amenities you would expect - kettle, TV, hair dryer, ironing board etc. The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo etc and having a bath was a welcome bonus too! Something was flapping about in the wind outside my room, which woke me up a few times. Probably from a private garden nearby that the hotel has no control of! A fresh lick of paint, maybe some new furniture and paying attention to high dusting in the room would make this place faultless!"

"A lovely place to stay, busy, welcoming, nothing too much trouble for staff who are very attentive and helpful, always a smile and welcome. Breakfast good other meals very good and well priced."
Lodge 4 - "birch"

"I don’t remember seeing anything about having to park a distance from the lodge and therefore having to carry luggage in the rain up a hill. Also I had presumed electric was included but we had to put £1 coins in the meter. All the cutlery, some of the plates and pans were dirty"
Lochside Cottage With Sea Views

"Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Lovely scenic outlook over Davaar Island and over to Arran, which changes by the hour.Good sized rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of games, books etc for when the weather isn't playing ball. Good off-road parking spaces for 2 cars, (3 at a push)Nice clear advice on using the hob, microwave, washing machine etc, as well as comprehensive suggestions for places to visit and where to eat.Overall we really enjoyed our few days in the cottage."

"The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead."
