Hotel doesn’t have a fully functional water heater so if you shower when everyone else does, your shower may only be lukewarm. The girls at the front desk are so kind. They keep me coming back!

The boiler was out for my two night stay, so there was no hot water for showers. Additionally, all the ice machines were out of service and there was no ice available at the front desk. Do I need to continue from here?

Very pleased

This hotel was nice, service was so friendly and the room comfortable. The decor had been updated and everything was very clean. My only complaint was the only outdoor seating area was small, for smoking and not shaded in anyway. Even in the mornings, east Texas is hot and a little shade would have been nice especially since I’m outside person it would have been a nice amenity. Other than that I would definitely stay again.

Front desk staff was rude. I was hollered at because I said there was no ice. She snapped at me until I showed her the empty bag. No ice machines were functional at all. Breakfast was very limitec due to a broken fan. Been Hilton Honors members for several decades. This was a very disappointing stay. Will certainly reconsider staying at a Hilton properties in the future

I called prior to booking to ask if the swimming pool was open. I was told it was. We arrived, only to learn that it wasn't actually open. Area around the property was heavily wooded and it would have been nice to look at, if it weren't for all the trash littered in it. Breakfast selection was just ok. One of the ac units outside seemed to be on the fritz and making a lot of weird noises. Outside of the hotel looked like it could use some repairs too.

I stayed one night at this hotel while visiting family. While the location, price, and staff were all excellent, the quality of the in-room maintenance and cleaning was disappointing, which would prevent me from staying here again. The Positives The front desk staff were friendly and the check-in process was fast and easy. The hotel's location is fantastic for accessing the surrounding area, and the price was quite reasonable for what I booked. The main areas of the room felt genuinely clean, the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to, and I really appreciated the small touch of a night light in the bathroom. The Negatives Unfortunately, several maintenance and cleanliness issues made the stay uncomfortable: * Pest Issue: The most serious problem was the presence of ants entering the room near the air conditioner. I even found one in the bed, which is unacceptable and a major issue for cleanliness. * Shower Quality: The shower was frustrating to use. While the water pressure was good, the shower head itself was faulty, barely letting water out in most modes and resulting in a weak, disappointing spray. * Deep Cleaning/Maintenance: The shower also needs attention, with missing grout and visible grime in the corners that requires a deep clean. * Minor Issue: The toilet lacked a soft-close seat, resulting in noticeable noise. Final Verdict The excellent staff and great location show this hotel has potential, but the significant issue with pests and the very obvious maintenanc

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your Kilgore, Texas location from October 3 through October 5. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standards I expected based on your website and online listings. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were extremely dirty—so much so that walking barefoot left our feet black and sticky, including in the bathroom. The overall appearance of the property and staff was unprofessional, and the staff members did not seem friendly or approachable. We were also very disappointed with the breakfast situation. Online photos and descriptions showed a full, appealing breakfast, but in reality there were only a few items available—dry toast, cereal, milk, and waffles. This was misleading and not what we expected when booking our stay. Additionally, there were multiple maintenance issues. The ceiling appeared to have a leak, as both my sister and I felt water drops coming from above. The TV was unplugged in several areas, and even after reconnecting it, we found that only a few news channels were available—nothing suitable for children or families. In the dining area, the chair cushions were heavily stained and unclean, adding to the overall discomfort. Lastly, at check-in, I was asked for a card to put on file but was not informed that a $100 charge would be placed on my account.
