Such a family friendly hotel. We were nervous about traveling with a three month old but the location itself was perfect. We stayed in a suite so I was able to manage nursing baby quite well on the road. The beach and pool were only steps away which was helpful!

The location is priceless and it’s a beautiful property! We had the beachfront room that allowed us to simply walk out to the beach from our room. The room was updated, clean and the terrace was a great and relaxing addition. We did have breakfast and Juliana keeps the breakfast items replenished and the area super clean. Overall we loved the place and we will be returning hopefully very soon!

The location of this hotel was perfect. We loved being able to walk out the sliding door of our room directly onto the beach. The outside chairs on the patio were a bonus to sit in and relax without getting into the sand. The room was very clean and the check-in staff were very friendly. The check-out was very convenient, too, with being able to use a text or email to let them know that you have checked out. If we are ever back in this area again, this is the place we would stay.

Had the best stay!! We did have issues with all the stairs with my elderly mother. Staff was able to move us to the first floor the next day after checkin. Loved the beach access and parking. Very close to so many things in the area.

Loved the pool and the oceanfront access. The rooms were clean and spacious. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. Everyone from the front desk staff to the maintenance and housekeeping folks were helpful and friendly. Delicious continental breakfast. The only hurdle was parking, so once you park, stay parked and walk to the awesome Kill Devil Grill across the street, the brewery a block north and the hotel next door for great oceanfront food and drinks. I’d stay again next year!

We loved being on the beach, so beautiful. My only complaint was that the air conditioner was a window unit hanging out on the balcony. It was very noisy and had hot air blowing. Side note: our room was very nice and cool :) The free breakfast was terrific. The Sunrise Cafe lady kept it well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We did not get ocean view but we were just feet from it. The room was clean and well maintained and very convenient. The property had a nice pool. They also had a beautiful covered deck area that overlooked the ocean. Had seating and tables so you could enjoy your coffee and watch the dolphins swim by. Inn offered a continental breakfast with a lot of choices. Location was near so many shops, restaurants and coffee shops as well. We really enjoyed our stay and the area

The staff were very friendly at the inn. The breakfast lady kept an exceptionally clean area and the breakfast was more than adequate. The location was great even though our room was not oceanfront, the access was great. The inn is very old although it has been remodeled. There is no elevator and our room was located in the 500 area and it was extremely difficult for our aged bodies to navigate getting our belongings in. We were not notified that accessibility would be an issue. The room, although old, was comfortably air conditioned and the beds were comfortable as well.

The hotel is nice and clean. Do not expect anything fancy, there is no phone or clock in the room. However, it was clean and the s5aff helpful with direct beach access. The big issue for my family was the breakfast. The room is so tiny and people have to wait for someone to leave to sit and eat.
