"Recommended for a long weekend. Dierdre and staff are excellent. The property is close to the tourist areas to walk, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The view is good and the grounds very nice. There's a bit of quirkiness in the hot water as you have to let it run for about 5 minutes, but the water pressure and shower were excellent and made up for the slow hot water. "

"Good hotel in a good location, if you have a car or are using public transport. Rooms spacious. We were room only and did not have breakfast as expensive for a family of four. Spa good, had to purchase a swim hat, this wasn’t a problem but others in pool not wearing a hat and staff poolside did not enforce this. "

Breakfast was very good and the staff were really helpful. We also ate in the restaurant every evening. Again it was all freshly cooked and really good. We would happily return. "
