  • **Please Read**IMPORTANT BUILDING WIDE INFORMATION: Mountain Green has ongoing construction on all three buildings.

    Mountain Green Amenities: Amenities will be Open everyday 9AM to 9PM

    This family-friendly condo is located in building three of the Mountain Green Resort in Killington, Vermont. Building three is the more desirable building because all of the amenities are located in this building including a restaurant, fitness room, vending machines, sauna, and steam room, which are open during the ski season. Being on one of the high floors and on the front of the building, you have a beautiful view of the mountain and some of the ski trails which are especially gorgeous in the fall when the leaves are changing.

    The Mountain Green Resort is right behind the Killington Resort and is surrounded by everything that Killington has to offer from skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing in the cold, snow-covered months, to the mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing in the summer. The road up the mountain is lined with great restaurants and shops and the Adventure Center is a great place for the kids to burn off their endless energy while having a great time!

    THINGS TO KNOW
    Mountain Green Amenities: the shuttle bus will only run on weekends and holidays this winter season! The amenities are managed and controlled by the Mountain Green property management team. We will do our best to provide updates as we are notified. The restaurant is closed for the summer season, but will re-open for the winter season.
    This home has an Electric Fireplace.
    The free parking is available in the parking lots behind building 3.

MLK weekend getaway

Condo was as listed- spacious, comfortable and convenient for an easy weekend of skiing at Killington. The cleaning service could be a little more detail oriented when it comes to nooks and crannies but overall the condo was clean enough for myself and my two kids. Kitchen could amenities could use some updating but nothing that would keep me from booking this condo again.

Nice private comfortable space

This unit was very clean and felt like you were staying at a friend’s place. We stayed the last week in September Out of season so there were no restaurants or shopping open within walking distance. Lack of a “customer service desk” or visible onsite staff made it a bit awkward arriving to a quiet site in the middle of construction, but once situated it was a nice retreat after days spent offsite in the local towns nearby. I would love to return during the season as this seems like the perfect spot to be to hit the slopes!

Couldn’t get a key card to use the amenities until the third day of our stay. Then on the day of checkout a contractor was banging on our door at 7am advising us we had to vacate the premises in 30 minutes because they were working on the roof.

The location to the mountain is great! Stayed midweek and the shuttle to the mountain was still running as normal which was awesome but even walking to the snowshed area was only 8min! Check-in was a piece of cake. Finding the building itself was a tad difficult but once we got our bearings it was nice to be in the same place as the amenities and rental center! Highly recommend using Black Dog over the Killington Rentals. Right in the lobby, great service and the guys were super helpful! The unit was nice, would stay here again, no question!

View was beautiful. Very nicely laid out condo. The 2 bathrooms were amazing for 5 of us. Nice dining table. Lots of outlets. Everything was very clean. Beds and pillows are firm. Kitchen items are workable but not newer like pots and pans. Pool was only open 10-6 so I wasn’t able to use it with sightseeing during the days. Elevator was great. Great trip.

Convenient location but not the cleanest.

Close to the slopes, just a few minutes walk. Hard to find parking location and main entrance in the dark. Dirty and smelly elevators but room itself mostly clean and had an odor likely caused by cleaning products. Pool was closed which was a surprise and a big disappointment to us as our kids were looking forward to it. Gym equipment quality and quantity was good.

The builing was under construction, which roof work was listed as what to know. HOWEVER we were not informed that our bedroom windows would be boarded shut and the balcony would be unavailabe for use. The door to the balcony was also boraded shut and workers spent all day on it. We could even get a breeze or open the curtains during the day. The workers started at 6 a.m. which was too early for waking up on vacation. We called vacasa twice to get fans with no results until we ran into the Green Mountian building manager the next day. She did bring us fans so we could be comfortable. Extremely disappointed in the whole stay.

All windows in unit were boarded up with ply wood and 2/3rd of the sliding glass door was boarded up with plywood. The unit was incredibly hot as there were no windows to let air in. I believe the boarded up windows in the bedroom are also a fire hazard. The description did not mention any of this, nor did the pictures. The description did mention construction would be being done in 2024, but this is 2025. Do not stay here. We booked a hotel room close by, and were lucky we found a place that had availability on such short notice. I would not recommend staying here.

Probably better in ski season

The apartment was well equipped and the bedding and furniture were very comfortable. The biggest problem we had was how hot it was. The airflow in the unit is not great and there were only two little fans for the entire place. That was a little rough. Also, the parking situation wasn’t clear in the listing but ended up being fine. Had to park in the dirt lot across the street. Overall it was good and we had a really nice stay.

The building is poorly marked and difficult to find. The help numbers where useless. Each unit has a numbered parking space you are not allowed to use. The parking was far away and not plowed well.We did like the unit itself once we were settled. The building itself is old and needs upgrading. Great location and view. Nice shower and kitchen.

Killington

Check in process is frustrating. Second time renting a unit and second time the check in process was botched. Wrong code was given and very difficult to gain access and took a decent amount of time to get in the unit. Again- frustrating. Other than that the unit and experience was good.

The place was well taken care of, comfortable and about 7 minute walk to the snowshed lodge. The home was represented accurately on listing. The only reason for a 4 rating vs a 5 is the stocking and quality of the kitchen. The kitchen was lacking the number of quality cookware needed when cooking for 6 people and water machine leaking on the floor. The last minor thing is cookware was in terrible condition-scratched and uneven. we had to rush to get a pan, pot and aluminum foil ourselves in snowy day. Overall the stay was great, just minor inconveniences you don’t expect with a luxury rental. The property manager-Amber was responsive and I am sure these minor issues will be fixed and I do recommend this location.

Condo had everything we wanted—comfortable beds, TVs in every room, 2 bathrooms, a balcony-the views are amazing of Killington! We stayed on really hot days but somehow the condo stayed cool (and had fans if needed). Outdoor pool is around the back, and the kids had a blast. It’s so close to Killington resort, too. I received a text from the management co when we arrived which was great, in case we needed anything! We’d go definitely stay again, would like to come back during ski season. The gym has a peloton bike!

This place was beautiful and we felt so cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Kids loved the pool especially at night when the lights were on. Perfect location for activities on the mountain and plenty of close restaurants.
