The place was not the cleanest. It smelt of mothballs. The sheets had stains.everything was outdated.

Good location. Nice to have a pool. It's clearly a work in progress. Room 14 is separate from all others and has a kitchenette, but that is still fairly limited in its use. Continuing with the upgrades will definitely help. A new air conditioner in that room would also help both owner and tenant.

We booked for a last minute trip to kincardine. The photos looked nice and it was one of the only places available with a pool. We arrived and were told the keys were in the room and the door was unlocked. We got in and it was honestly the worst motel room i have ever seen. The furniture did not fit in the room, all the paint was chipping, table legs were wobbly and appliances were as old as me. The mini fridge wasnt even cold. We decided we couldnt stay there. If the room looked like this i wonder what the pool looked like. Their reviews are obviously fake. We managed to only pay for 1 of our 2 night stay because of their cancelation policy (it was a headache getting a refund for 1 night). So in the end we were out 150$. What a horrible experience. Many better places in kincardine.

We were disappointed with out stay when you finally got hot water in the shower if someone in room beside flushed or started their shower ours went scalding hot, shower drained must have been plugged didnt drain while having a shower so you stood in water , stained pillow cases, Rooms are not soundproof, Pool wasnt cleaned, seal on fridge was hanging off, tolietries were left from previous visitors Burning something when we arrived ..doing maintenance we were told..pretty sure there was burn ban on.and do not think this is time to do yes it was before 4 pm check in but I received a phone call to come between 2:30 and 3..arrived at 2:50 and was told doing maintenance could we come back thought great that is right across from our room This was our anniversary stay it was disappointing to say the least , we were not expecting the Ritz but thought clean was not a big ask Only given 1 room key, towels were big hand towels

Super cute motel! walking distance to the beach, even though it wasnt the summer season yet, i would definitely come back preferably in the summer. The manager/staff was really friendly and accommodating for whatever we needed. They certainty go above and beyond for their guest. If your looking for a quite cozy stay on a budget, than check out lakeview motel:)

To start he couldn’t find my reservation. The room was very tight for 2beds The taps in the shower were reversed and switched from freezing to scalding during my shower. The air conditioner was very inefficient and had to be turned off to use the hair dryer that didn’t work. Thank goodness I brought my own. The room was clean and I found my bed comfortable the toilet leaked so mopped it up with the shower towel. There was no safety mat in the shower the towel had a hole in it oh my not like a first class hotel although I felt our fee was very high. How does that sound. How about a reduced rate. Very very disappointing. Gail

They need to upgrade coffee makers and get cobwebs out of corners. Shower needs to be re-grouted. All and all it was fairly clean and owner was very friendly and helpful

Overall My wife and I had a great stay here. I will say the mattress was very firm and there was some bugs/spiders around the room. I know it can be difficult to clean when the door opens right to the outside. Hotels have it a bit easier since their doors open to a hallway. But as far as motels go, this was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The owner is a very friendly gentleman and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be coming back during our next stay in Kincardine.
