Lovely venue, great room, friendly and professional staff. It all started well with great parking and a warm welcome. Although the main building doesn't have a lift, the reception staff kindly helped with my case up the one flight of stairs (several up and down steps along the corridor - some steep).
My room was spacious, dual aspect and everything you could need. The only tiny niggle was the cheap biscuits (but good quality tea bags!). These were incongruent with the otherwise high quality feel of the entire stay.
The bed deserves a special mention. Spacious and excellent quality mattress and bedding, made it a very restful time.
I ate in the restaurant that evening. Amazing food. Totally delicious. I also had breakfast. It was a clever mix of buffet (cold items) and plated (e.g. English breakfast). I liked the range of cold options including various cereals, yoghurt, porridge, toast and pastries.
We loved our stay here. Hotel very clean. Room we had was lovely and large and AC which was very welcomed with the heatwave
Good breakie you could order from a menu and some buffet.

The manor us a bit dated but the front desk staff were lovely which made up for the decor. Reasonable price and hearty food. Walking distance to beach.
Really friendly welcome, good facilities, room was spotless, only a flying 1 night visit with an early start so we didn’t dine but we would definitely stay here again
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the Full English Breakfast was lovely. Our room was clean with full size bath towels, hand towels, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water (still & sprinkling). Mattress was a little hard but comfortable. The only down side was the room was really hot (35 outside) and it only had a tower fan so the first night was a bit uncomfortable temperature wise apart from that i will 100% recommend this hotel to stay. I can’t wait to stay there again
The rooms were extremely basic but clean, and the hotel was conveniently located for where we wanted to be. The rooms and the dining area were way too hot and couldnt be moderated and the beds, pillows and duvet were also basic ajd very uncomfortable. The breakfast was basic but sufficient
Room had not been fully cleaned when we checked. Bathroom door would not lock and there was damage to the wall behind the door which had not been repaired. Shower screen over the bath was not adequate to prevent water from soaking the floor. Overall the decor was tired and in need of refreshing.
Food in the restaurant was average. The room rate of just over £300 for the night was excessive for the standard offered at the hotel.
We stayed in room 2 which is a lovely comfortable suite. All the staff were friendly and worked really hard, especially as it was a busy New Years Eve. Breakfast was superb … great quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. We couldn’t fault it at all. A wonderful stay thank you all.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Although the hotel has the status Manor it was a bit tired in some areas.
The breakfast area needed to be stocked up a few times and ran out of a couple of things.
Staff mainly helpful and friendly
Ordered food from the lunchtime menu when we arrived and the prawns in our food were a bit hard and the pasta was not linguine it was tagliatelle.
Arrived back not too late from our party and the hotel bar was shut
Lovely hotel, we stayed in the pavilion. Good food, cooked breakfast in particular was really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.
The hotel/Manor & surrounding grounds were delightful, from the delightful duck pond to the challenging links golf course, reasonably priced for guests staying. The Wellness gym, spa & treatments seemed idealistic
First time staying at the manor. Although we only stay one night for our anniversary. I felt really comfortable. Food was great , the people working there were really friendly.throughly recommended staying there. And will definitely be visiting there again.
