We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful castle hotel. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also extremely nice with a hot option (like pancakes/sausage) included. Only complaint is that there needs to be some pest control inside, as there were spiders in every corner of the ceiling as well as one running around by my toilet. The grounds were incredible and we wished we had more time to stay and hike around them as others seemed to know to plan. We hope to be back!

The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar.

Wow, beautiful hotel castle. Stayed only one night, checked out the walking trails - they were so nice! Staff were excellent , so warm and welcoming. Its a must stay when visiting Ireland.

The property was great. Staying in an old castle was a cool experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the room which smelled musty and the windows had no screens so we had to be mindful of the bugs when airing it out. The bed was tiny, but comfortable.

We loved the experience of staying in a genuine castle! It was a beautiful property with trails for walking and wildlife wandering on site with horses! The only thing I’d change were the sheers on the bathroom window (felt a little exposed. The staff were lovely and we would definitely stay again and longer to enjoy the area more! Offaly is beautiful
