Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. "Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels)."

"Our state was very nice. No problems. Just to be aware that this is not the touristy part of town. With no offense meant, we were the only white couple. We saw the whole time in this area. Everyone was smiling and friendly. No problem whatsoever with the locals they were very welcoming!"

"It's a very nice budget hotel with on-site parking lots and the room together with the attached bathroom is also well-maintained and very clean, which is commendable. But our only gripe is that since the hotel and a gym fitness center also sharing the same building but the flooring and the wall isn't laced with any sound-proofing materials, it can be a bit hard to catch a peaceful sleep, especially for a senior citizen like my Dad.
