"The room was clean but is a bit dated and old. The TV would randomly turn off and wouldn't turn back on. The staff was great. Breakfast was fine."

"Great value, but the hotel was a bit tired. Room was very basic and we asked to be moved to the front of the hotel to a room with a balcony and they kindly obliged. The second room was much nicer overall. Breakfast was simple, with a small buffet and eggs cooked to order. Location was excellent close to the lake and some good restaurants. Walking distance to the Victoria Mall and public transport. Complimentary airport shuttle is included, just don't forget to request it in advance. "

"The hotel has a nice lakeside setting and the airport shuttle service was convenient and appreciated. However, the property feels older and could benefit from updates and general refreshment. There were also many lake flies during our stay, which made the experience less comfortable. We requested a late checkout and, although the manager offered a reduced rate, we still had to pay $50 for a 3:00 pm departure. Overall, it was an average stay with some positives, but there is room for improvement."

"First the positives - the house is beautiful and very large. Lots of room to spread out.Sadly there were many things that made this stay very disappointing. Some were fixed by the end of the stay but many were not. Cannot recommend. And for context, we live in Uganda so we get some of the limitations and were prepared for some small issues.1. The pin location of the home was not accurate and it turned out being on a terrible road from both entry points. We had a 4WD so could get in but normal cars could not.2. The property manager meeting us at check-in was 1.5 hours late even though we told him he time and confirmed.3. The guard was living there with his wife and 4 children, on the compound. There were several mornings they were banging pots and pans etc. at 5:30AM.4. The refrigerator was closed and off when we came. It had not been cleaned as it stank of rotten meat even after being on.5. The gas stove had one of the elements that did not turn off. Very scary. They replaced it with a small electric burner that was useless.6. Property claims AC but there was none. Not really needed thankfully.7. The window in the east facing bedroom was not sealed around the outside. The noise from the guard's family on the property was very loud.8. Kitchen counters not clean, fan broken, taps in kitchen and master bathroom very loose.9. No wifi working when we got there. Took more than 24 hours to get it fixed.Disappointed. 1 star."

"Bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is basic but very clean. No AC; no fan but when we asked for a fan they accommodated our request. Nice flower garden setting outside for breakfast. "
