This is my 3rd stay at the Microtel in Klamath Falls, OR and each and every time I have stayed here the staff has been very friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean, parking is not a nightmare, and the breakfast is hot and on time. I enjoy this hotel.

First, I am a clean freak. So I have unusually high standards for cleanliness. I would rate this hotel cleanliness at a three out of five and maintenance two out of five stars. So tell must be close to 20 years old and right next to a bowling alley and a bar if that's your thing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful . It was quiet to sleep and this Microtelis better than some of the other hotels locally. I do not know how their breakfast is, I left early.

Pool & hot tub were filthy. None of the jets in the hot tub had any power. Not worth going in either. Early morning till we checked out about 10am, all we heard was the cackling cleaning crew. They all were just sitting in the eating area having a great time, very loud! They were talking crap about people as well and I called them out on that. Guess they didn’t realize I spoke Spanish too! Hope Management fixes that with their staff. I’ve never seen staff just sitting around heating up their own (smelly) homemade meals in the public microwave, watching videos on their phones with the volume up high, lagging and gossiping all while on the clock. It was breakfast time mind you and it was still service time for paying guests. Unacceptable!

The queen bed was smaller than a traditional queen and was uncomfortable. Every time my husband moved in the bed it bounced me. The pillows were lumpy and hard. The complimentary breakfast items were not as good as others I’ve been to. On the outside the hotel looks good quality but inside the rooms don’t look maintained well and are dated like a motel. The hot tub was not in service. At $200/night I would not stay here again. Staff were nice.
