"We were amongst the first few guests at this outstanding new hotel. The location is jaw-droppingly stunning in every direction with sea views on one side and lake/Mountain views on the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and high quality down duvet and pillows. "We stayed here on our first night in Iceland with a plan to tour the south coast. Check-in was issued by email and super easy to get into the building and room with our code. The room was as expected with a coffee machine/tv/private bathroom and overall for the price this stay was fantastic, a great pit stop if you don’t want to be travelling from the city centre out to destinations every day. We had no issues with noise, the bed was comfy and the room was lovely and toasty during winter time....

The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back! "
