Rooms are clean and the staff are amazing. An improved air conditioner for the room would be nice as it got very warm in the room at times. We loved the connected grocery store and shopping center connected to the Hotel.
It is an average hotel. It’s located in quiet area and has shopping place that can buy minimum necessary.
It’s an old building but has a facility that I need during my stay.
I stayed the hotel before and had a bad experience, too early breakfast (finished at 9 am) not professional staff at the restaurant when I had a problem and food wasn’t special at all. I don’t know if it’s been improved now.
The facilities were old, but it was a nice hotel with a good view, Its a pity that the surrounding area is inconvenient!
However,I thought it was a power spot that survived after
reconstruction from the earthquake.
While I'm a regular visitor to Kobe (and former resident of Hyogo-ken), I'd never stayed at the hotel before. I didn't know it at the time of reservation, but it's a licensed Sanrio Hotel. It didn't matter to me, but I think families with young kids, should probably check it out as an alternative to lots of other hotels. Yes, Rokko Island is a bit inconvenient for most tourists, but it's affordable, got big rooms, has the Sanrio stuff and the area is very nice and not crowded.
