Amazing place

Great hotel outside of the main hotel areas in the Island. Feels very private and quiet. It is still a short walk on the beach away from the walking street and all the restaurants. Does have a small beach with access to the ocean. Great breakfast included. We stayed in a room with a hot tub on the terrace. Very private, no way for anyone to see into the terrace. The bed is extremely comfortable and looks out into the ocean and neighboring islands. The hot tub is very clean and comfortable however it does take a long time to fill up and we never could get it to be hot enough. All in all a great place to stay with a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and terraces with an amazing view.

The stay was great and the view from our room was like a dream. The staff is very professional and helpful specially a guy named Charlie. The only thing we had concerns about was the monkeys that visited us occasionally. They tend to show up early in the morning and sometimes in the middle of the day which led us not to be able to use the balcony as we wanted. How ever the staff helped us true the situation.

Pick up from arrival, welcome drink, good breakfast, beach bungalow vibe with AC, next to Forever restaurant which has great vegetarian options! Private beach almost empty in mornings but can get busy in afternoon as they advertise to people not staying at hotel. Smile was awesome and got me an in room massage. Love the staff

Nous avons réservé via hôtels.com.pour 2 adultes et un enfant de 10 ans. A notre arrivée, on nous annonce que nous devons payer un supplément de 1500 baths pour un lit supplémentaire, en plus des 20 euros déjà payés lors de la reservation! Nous avons refusé. Un lit supplémentaire nous a été mis à disposition gratuitement compte tenu de notre réclamation. Celui ci était un vulgaire matelas en piteux état posé a même le sol sur un tapis dans un état de saleté plus que dégoûtant ! L'état général de chambre n est pas à la hauteur du prix appliqué : salle de bain sale et très rudimentaire (pas de bac à douche ni de rideaux comme dans un hostel), la tête de lit est trouée et a été rafistolée avec du scotch, les draps sont troués etc etc En cas de mauvais temps, le petit déjeuner est servi au bar où la climatisation est constamment branchée a une température digne du pôle nord et les plats servis sont sans aucune saveur avec un choix très réduit. Notre expérience est en chambre de luxe vue jardin. Il semblerait que les autres hébergements soient dvun tout autre standing Bref, un séjour à oublier

Très joli hôtel avec différentes terrasses surplombant la mer Personnel charmant Attention pas de piscine en dehors des piscines privées de certains hébergements (c'est un peu trompeur lorsqu'on voit les photos de l'hôtel) Kayak et paddle à disposition Restaurant très joli mais un peu couteux Un peu à l'écart des endroits animés mais assez facile d'accès à pied des principales plages et de la walking streer Joli bungalow décoré avec goût

Ci tornerei

L'hotel è nella zona più incontaminata e tranquilla dell'isola con una piccola spiaggia privata sul tratto di mare a mio parere più bello di koh lipe. A nuoto o in kayak in pochi minuti si raggiungono le poche calette isolate lontano dai resort. Avevo un bunglow garden de luxe con bagno alla maldiviana, arredamento tipico thai, veranda con divano e veranda con amaca. Tutto immerso in un giardino lussureggiante e curato. La colazione, come spesso accade in Thailandia, non è perfettamente aderente ai gusti europei (assomigliano a quello che per noi può essere un pranzo) ma fatta sulla terrazza a picco sul mare è ottima. Il ristorante per la cena è ottimo con prezzi di poco superiori alla media. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Per raggiungere pattaya beach c'è un percorso alternativo alla strada principale molto semplice: 15 minuti di passeggiata e si arriva in walking street. E' stato un soggiorno molto piacevole e se tornassi a koh Lipe, tornerei al Cliff Lipe senza dubbio.

Jacuzzi Ocean View - Would Recommend

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Ocean View Suite. What you are paying for is the view - and It is incredible. Looking out onto the crystal clear waters from your bed is quite magical and It's the best view we've had from a hotel during our travels. The room itself is very nice, clean and comfortable, with good air con, however note the bathroom is open to the outside so that can be quite hot and humid. There is a small private beach which is nice and quiet and they offer free kayak and snorkel equipment for you to use. What was lacking was the extra touches. The room we were promised via email prior, was no longer available. The staff although very friendly, spoke very little English, so most requests were left with a blank look, even requesting the free shuttle bus back (written in english on a sign) was confusing. We were charged extra items upon checkout and also the first key to our room didn't work. Distance to the walking street is further than expected. All of these are minor issues, but I raise them only because of the price of the room. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for the views alone. Koh Lipe is a very small island and this is a great option for a romantic trip.

The front staff no communication and very bad services. They did not inform clearly information or options for the customers. Only reaturant 's staffs and beach staffs have good service mind. Cleanliness of the room not so good, after they made up the room not checked peoperly still left used towers in the room and never fiiled up the new tower. It was under my expectation for Lipe trip this time.

Amazing but...

So, this is a difficult hotel to rate. The hotel itself (location, surroundings) is amazing! Even though there was other hotels close by you did not notice them at all! The restaurant and bar had an amazing view and the private beach with snorkelling (as a guest you can borrow gear, towels and kayaks for free) is one of the best beaches in Koh lipe, no longtails + not a lot of people since the hotel is quite small! The staff in the bar/restaurant and down at the beach bar were super helpful and very nice! The distance from walking street was actually a plus for us, the hotels at Pattaya and sunrise felt cluttered and no possibility’s of snorkelling! The “cabs” were super easy and great with a fixed price (50 bath per person). The hotel also offered free shuttle at appointed times in the evening. Our issue with this hotel was the cleaning and the room. Things were not refilled when they cleaned, cleaning was making the bed and if we were lucky - a new toilet roll. We had to ask for both toilet roll and shampoo/shower gel which feels like it should not be an issue. The water in our bathroom ran out a couple of times and when we told we felt that there was a lack of communication from the front office - but is might have been a language barrier. All in all this hotel is amazing much thanks to the location and beach and if they improve the state and cleaning of the rooms it would be even better!

We had the best stay at the Cliff Lipe! We loved: 1) Food! Breakfast is included and is delicious. 2) Beach: is very private. Only a handful of people all throughout the day on the beach. 3) Snorkelling: there are a lot of fishes/coral reefs on their beach 4) Staff: SO friendly and they take care of you to make sure everything is good. Charlie is the best 5) The view from the resort is amazing A few things to note: 1) It is a bit of a walk from the walking street. The distance is not too far, but walking in the 35 degree weather made it a bit harder. But the resort is a short walk to Pattaya beach 2) We stayed in the Deluxe room (one that didn't have a private pool). The resort itself does not have a pool. Overall, we had a great time here and would LOVE TO GO BACK!!

Mosquito island

I think this review is for koh Lipe in general, it is pretty much mosquito infested at the best of times and since the island is so small there is very little to do here in the low season. The staff here were amazing, friendly, and very helpful. There were some problems with my room, namely the safe did not work and had to be replaced and the bathroom roof leaked which shorted out the bathroom light. Be aware that everything on the island cost at least double what it does anywhere else in Thailand seemingly. Also getting to and from the island is a bit of an ordeal.
