I had an amazing stay at Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana – it strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience, right in the heart of Chaweng.
The hotel has a modern tropical vibe and a peaceful atmosphere, even though it’s just steps away from all the action. The location is ideal – only a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and everything you need for a great time in Samui. If you can, book an ocean-view room – watching the sunrise every morning was absolutely magical.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with all the essentials you’d expect. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night – it made winding down after a day in the sun so easy. One of my favorite surprises came from the housekeeping team – they created lovely floral decorations on the bed every day. Their creativity and attention to detail truly made each return to my room feel special.
The rest of the staff were just as fantastic. From the friendly front desk to the warm and welcoming restaurant and bar crew, everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The pool area is another highlight – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for lounging with a drink or diving into a good book.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a solid mix of local Thai options and familiar Western favorites – definitely something for everyone.
