This was my first hostel experience and it was spectacular (they do have private rooms as well). The staff was amazing from check in to check out. It's right on the beach and the location is perfect for me. Just a quick walk to downtown. Also has a great restaurant on site but is surrounded by many other great places to eat. There are scooters to rent but you are just a quick taxi to anywhere you want to go. I highly recommend this place!

The Rock was a beautiful place. Staff was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We stayed in the ocean front villa, which is actually three separate “rooms”. A kitchen - stove, fridge, toaster and toaster oven, kettle, etc, with place to sit to eat and a toilet. Then two separate suites for sleeping etc. We were two couples, so perfect for us. Pool is amazing and there’s a nice shady room right off the pool to get out of the sun. Beach is pretty, but not a swimming beach. When the tide is very high you could get in, but otherwise, too shallow and coral right off shore. This place is walkable to Lamai beach, but it’s about 20 minutes, about ten minutes along a very busy road. You can’t get to Lamai by walking on the beach (big rocks in the way). There are a few restaurants in the other direction, but again, you’re walking along a busy road. The Rock itself serves breakfast and lunch. Their kitchen closes at 4pm. A small breakfast was included with our room, which was a beautiful cappuccino and two small, delicious waffles, all delivered to our kitchen. The staff at the Rock is exceptional, and accommodated us wonderfully. They helped us arrange massages in our rooms, and guided us to finding restaurants, etc. Our flight was in the evening, well after checkout, but we were able to stay in the poolside room all day.

Hôtel magnifique avec une très belle vue la piscine juste au bord de la mer avec une petite plage privé qui appartient à l’hotel le personnel est génial super souriant serviable à l’écoute niveau propreté c’est vraiment très propre je me demande même si il nettoie pas plusieurs fois par jour et en plus il est situé à 10 minutes à pied du quartier animé de lamai donc au calme tout en ayant la possibilité de sortir voir l’ambiance de la nuit mon seul regret et de ne pas être rester plus longtemps je recommande
