"For an extremely relaxing and invigorating vacation stay in a private onsen room. The shiatsu massage was next level. The breakfast buffet and traditional Japanese dinner were delicious, well presented and the service was great."

"Wow - this place was amazing. I felt so spoiled coming back at the end of each day and soaking in the foot bath or onsen tub in our beautiful apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are also fantastic. There are not many restaurants near by, but we didn't mind bringing food with us to cook. There is also a 7-11 for supplies a 15-minute walk up the hill. We could easily catch the bus or train from here for our daily adventures. Our kids liked the foot bath and big projector screen for watching shows in the evening. "

"The facility is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The onsens were excellent and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the kaiseki dinner was somewhat disappointing. The dishes lacked flavour, and many of them had a softer, mushy texture. The pacing of the meal could also be improved — there was about a 45-minute wait between courses, which felt quite long. In addition, there were occasional odours noticeable during food service that slightly detracted from the overall dining experience. The staff were courteous, but at times seemed less familiar with the details of the dishes, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the meal. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the experience did not fully meet expectations for the price."

"Beautiful accommodation, with a private bath in our room, made for a very relaxing stay in Hakone. The private onsens were very good and the lounge wear provided for guests was a nice touch."
