I would have preferred if you had told me that you were doing construction everywhere before I booked TWO rooms for 4 adults. Noisy flapping white tarps and ZERO views from any of the windows of BOTH rooms I rented.

Semester i Norge

Ett annorlunda hotell beläget i en gammal borg! Man kan verkligen känna historiens vingslag! Mycket trevlig personal, god mat och dryck. Rummet var väldigt litet med skador på väggarna, men rent och snyggt. Vi hade problem med att hitta parkering, reception och hotell. Borde vara bättre skyltat och mer information i bokningsbekräftelsen.

Bra opphold på et meget spesielt hotell. Merkelige glassbokser utgjør veggene til badet. Usikker på om jeg liker de, spesielt i et sånnt gammelt og koselig bygg.

Middag var veldig god Frokosten var ikke som forventet , ikke delikat oppdekking,brød lå i plastpose, stadig tomt for ting. Burde være duker på alle bordene. Forvirrende uklare regler for rabatt ordningen. Skilt på veggen at hotellet er historisk

Das Zimmer war ganz wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolles Erlebnis auf der Burg. Total nettes Personal. Das Frühstück ist definitiv verbesserungswürdig. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir aber gerne wieder.

Nydelig sted

Et fantastisk sted. Du bor i historiske omgivelser og på et levende museumsområde. Sengene var utrolig behagelige. Litt vanskelig å finne resepsjonen, da det var lite skilting.

Great place

We arrived in the evening around the time19:30. It was a very warm welcome. The dinner was excellent. The service and atmosphere was great. The room was really good. Old and modern style. The shower was fantastic and high pressure. The area speaks for it self. There is so much information everywhere for your enjoyment

Veldig stilig med overnatting på gammel festning. Vi hadde familierom for 4 gjester, men sovesofa hadde ingen god madrass. Stålfjærer gikk nesten igjennom madrassen. Veldig lytt imellom rommene. Blide og imøtekommende ansatte. Litt stusselig frokost med noen varer som hadde gått over dato.

Fantastisk lokasjon og mye historie som fungere som et spennende alternativ til et mer tradisjonelt hotell. Negative: Problemer med visse strømuttak som ikke fungerte. Samt det var fullt for middag (julebord) men vi ble ikke informert ved innsjekk. Endte med at vi måtte ned til Kongsvinger for middag/kvelds. Heldigvis hadde vi bil, men greit å informere gjester så tidlig så mulig mtp småbarn osv.

Jätte fint ställe med kanon utsikt

Många hade klagat på att det var en byggarbetsplats och det var det nu med. Men de måste ju få renovera då byggnaderna är från 1700-talet. Det var inget som störde oss. Bäddsoffan var inte bäddad som jag bett om när vi kom dit och det tog ett tag att få sängkläder till den då det bara fanns en personal. Jag erbjöd mig att bara jag får lakanen så gör vi resten själva, men det tog en stund ändå. Det var det enda negativa, ja förutom att alla ägg var hårdkokta, haha. En husfru borde vara på plats så länge det går att checka in, så inte en stackars person behöver sköta både restaurang och reception. Rent och fint var det. Lite mer handdukar och att ha valet att fortsätta använda dem ett tag till i stället för att de byter varje dag är ett tips också. Enkel frukost men god.

Super nice place to stay, the room was super. - a very good experience in every way. Had a super dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was very nice too. The only thing you have to be prepared for is the walk very much uphill from the parking to the hotel with luggage - could be difficult if you have problems lifting or walking on uneven ground.

Vi ble tatt veldig godt i mot av hyggelig vertskap. Maten var helt fortreffelig. Litt hard og dårlig madrass på ekstra sengen, det var det som dro ned oppholdet. Eller helt topp.
