Excellent choice for short stay in Konstanz. Quiet pedestrian area on edge of old town 10 mins from station. Rooms not spacious but well equipped with draw and hanging space. Inclusion of breakfast a bonus but plenty of excellent bakeries/cafes around. Well pleased with our choice.

This was a lovely hotel, comfortable, nicely decorated, safe, very clean, great staff, plus very walkable to everything. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast had plentiful choices. Free local bus/train pass was great. It covered a large area. Staff very helpful. Glass bathroom door was fine for me, being a solo traveller. Around 5-7mins walk from main station and the old town. I would happily stay here again.

OK for a brief stay

Modern hotel reliant on digital technology (the numbers on the glass panel in the lift are almost invisible - who knew?) but with little character. Good breakfast and excellent, quiet location. Single bed was a small double actually. Trendy shower room.

Good location, with challenging parking, although the hotel has 4-5 spots for $18 a day. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Very nice staff! The room itself was very odd. The bathroom was a very odd layout. Very little privacy as it had a glass enclosure. Overall though the hotel was a good value.

Excellently situated friendly hotel

Excellent location next to the Old Town, and close to Sea Works and the Barbour. The room pass gives free bus travel, so we did not use our car. Parking is very restricted, but works. Breakfast is full English with eggs, bacon and sausages, and an imaginative buffet. No air conditioning, and on a somewhat noisy pedestrian area street, so cooling the room to sleep well and quietly was not easy. The staff are excellent and helped us find restaurants and understand the trips possible. Great hotel overall, would stay here again.

The hotel is central and nice. However, my experience was competely negative: I had paid extra for a flexible fare (4 nights) because my father-in-law had serious health problems and I was uncertain about my business travel there. I then decided to go (I had an important meeting for a European research project) but had to return after 2 nights only (I had warned the manager on my arrival that I may have to leave earlier due to serious family problems but she clearly did not believe me and wished me a nice holiday there, completely ignoring my communication!!). When I unfortunately had to leave because my father-in-law had badly worsened -he died in the night - I asked to cancel the extra 2 nights or to get at least one reimboursed but after a generic email saying "we will see what we can do" I did never get any answer, nor did I get a refund. I heard that the third night was offered to a colleague of mine, but she did not manage to enter the room when she arrived at around midnight after a business dinner (the card was not working) and, since nobody was at the reception, she had to look for another place to sleep. In spite of this inconvenience, the room costs were never refunded to me. This was really, really sad and unpleasant.

Ruhig und zentral gelegenes Hotel. Sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück und zahlreiche Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß in 10 min zu erreichen.

Schöne Lage, gutes Frühstück

Das Hotel liegt wirklich top – zentral und gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und das Bett war sehr bequem. Leider waren die Kissen für meinen Geschmack ziemlich unbequem, was den Schlafkomfort etwas gemindert hat. Das Frühstück war dagegen richtig gut – es gab eine große Auswahl und für jeden etwas dabei. Auch das Personal war durchweg freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Was allerdings negativ auffiel: Der Parkplatz ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen und mit 20 Euro pro Nacht ziemlich teuer – das trübt den Gesamteindruck leider ein wenig.
