"When we arrived all the windows were open, and there was no heat and the outsode (and consequently inside temp) was around 43°f. No toilet paper, no towels. The owner had left a portable radiator outside the apartment but had not warmed up the aprtment. Radiator had little affect on warming the room. "It was hard to find at first, but thankfully we found someone who was very helpful and kind. The main complaints were that the cabin was not 100% done being built. For example there were outlet covers missing and no railing on the staircase. Another issue is that the bathroom will have water/mold issues in the future as there is no shower curtain or exhaust fan so the bathroom got musty even by the end of our three nights."

"An unbelievable stay with picturesque views and natural beauty. We could hardly believe our eyes that we were staying in the middle of somewhere so stunning! All the amenities you could need in the cabin, very clean and check in was easy and stress free. Great communication from host too. "Excellent location with free parking. Walking distance from the entrance of Durmidor National Park and restaurants. Very friendly and professional front desk staff. Excellent breakfast. Overall, very pleasant stay."

"Lovely rooms - really clean and the interior and decor was perfect and modern, loved the finished in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, definitely book in advance for dinner in the evenings as it gets very busy (for a good reason as the food was nice!). We did not book and whilst they kindly fit us in, it was a very long wait for food and drinks. Waiting staff were absolutely lovely but it does take a long time to get served at times, even during the day when it was quieter. Food was tasty though, authentic mountain Montegren options and the breakfast was outstanding, great range. Staff were very accommodating when we had food poisoning and had to stay an extra night, they were really excellent and understanding when we explained our circumstances and just wanted some simple food to order to the room - they were quick with that request. Location wise, it’s only 20 minute walk to Zagreb but it is on quite a busy road so views weren’t as gorgeous as other hotels but still only 20 minutes drive from Durmitor national Park and Blake Lake."

"We had high expectations (having read other reviews) and weren’t disappointed. It was a warm and welcoming hotel with very friendly staff who were keen to help and very smiley! Our apartment was huge and more than adequate for the 5 of us. We enjoyed use of the sauna several times during our stay and really liked the fresh ingredients at breakfast. Being in a country where we don’t speak the language it was great that the staff had an adequate grasp of English to answer our queries."

"The lodges are absolutely beautiful, and the setting is out of this world! There was nothing nicer than waking up in the morning and having breakfast in the cool air looking at the mountain range, and at night enjoying a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunset! The lodges are clean, cozy and have everything you will need! The host is very communative and happy to help with any questions that came up! It took us only about 10-15 minutes to drive into the town where there are many bars and restaurants! There is also a few supermarkets so we stocked up on what we needed to cook a lot of breakfast and dinners ourselves in the lodge, to allow us to have more time enjoying the beautiful scenery! I would highly recommend this accommodation and if we are ever back in the area will always return to this location!"
