Colmar Hotel

"If you want to stay by the train station, this is a great option. To get to old town/Little Venice on foot, it's about a 10-12 minute walk. Overall I was very happy with my stay, but there were a few oddities with the room. First, there are no black out curtains, so the entire time I was wondering if people in the parking garage could see into my room. Secondly, there's a red glass window between the room and bathroom, so I think you could put on an interesting silhouetted show if you're sharing the room. Third, the shower has no door, so the bathroom floor gets really wet (but they provide a big towel/rug to soak it up). Aside from those peculiar items, I was really happy with my stay. The bed was comfortable (although I hate throw pillows in a hotel room) and everything was clean. The hotel has a modern feel to it. The breakfast was outstanding. A large spread of food and drink options, plus great service. If you don't eat dinner in the old town (a lot of restaurants don't open until 7pm), I did not notice many options in walking distance of the hotel. One night I ate at a different hotel near the train station that was good. I would stay here again if visiting Colmar."

"Our first time in Alsace and we loved the location of our hotel in Colmar. Less than 5 minute walk. Amenities are great, really enjoyed the patio to have HH and play our games. Bed was very comfy! Highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again."

"Stuff was very helpful. Room was clean and basic. Bed was comfortable and firm. There is an elevator, but every floor has a interesting two to three steps down within the same floor to get to my room. So be aware of that. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the train station and the sites. Please be aware that it is right by the train tracks. So it gets loud, if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Even with the window closed you can still hear the trains go by. It's no problem for me since I'm a heavy sleeper, and it was just a place to sleep. I would stay here again because of the central location."

"Great little hotel. Absolutely perfect location. Our issue was that they put us in the very top floor. We had a lot of luggage. Elevator was not working and they offered no assistance. The last day the elevator worked for part of the day. I asked for a small refund, like waive the €11 euro tax, they said no. Was a winding wood staircase. 4 flights. With 2 50lb checked luggage and 2 carryons. Can’t beat location and hotel was clean. Room was fine."
