I booked Sunway pyramid hotel but got upgraded to the resort hotel which is of a higher rating. Although the check-in was delayed due to the volume of guest at the hotel, we manage to get away with the waiting by going to the theme park first and checked in after. The hotel has a water park on level 5 and a main pool on level 1. Entrance to the water park was a breeze through a special entrance dedicated for the hotel. Overall best hotel Malaysia experience!

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel was connected to the shopping mall and theme parks so it was extremely convenient. However, parking was chargeable at RM15 a day which I felt was ridiculous since the room rates are already rather pricy.

Convenient to Sunway mall and attractions

Big clean room but lobby area can be very noisy. Gym and pool access is not straightforward and requires a fairly long walk to Sunway Lagoon hotel. Gym is rather small. Hotel is great for access to the shopping mall and eateries. Not for a quiet stay.
