  • Welcome to The Cure located in Kure Beach/Fort Fisher. We are using extreme caution when cleaning and sanitizing our unit. This one-bedroom condo located directly on the beach at The Riggings offers a new king-size bed, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and a set of bunk beds built in the hall. All linens included, a fully stocked kitchen/appliances, and a washer/ dryer are inside the unit. Cook in or enjoy dinner out at any of the nearby restaurants. There is a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and community grill with a picnic table right out our patio door. Our unit is F1 in building 2 on the first floor and we are beachfront. Fishing, swimming, and relaxation await your arrival. Welcome to "The Cure."

The pool is right by the patio and the beach walkway is just around the first building. It’s a quiet neighborhood with plenty to do closer to the pier. The house was clean and well kept. I would highly recommend!

Was immaculate well furnished very nice decor. Will return any time we come to Carolina beach to visit family. The beach and location is perfect. If you have issues with units that require stairs to access the property this is perfect. Its very difficult to find a place with entry in carolina beach this is at ground level very rare.

Great place, loved the location--quiet "end of the road." Everything was a breeze with the unit. Super nice to have some basic condiments and lots of cooking supplies. Great little getaway

My family enjoyed our time at "The Cure"! The condo was very clean and had many things that we would need such as toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. The view was nice too. Parking is very close to door also. The location is in Fort Fisher, which is a beautiful area! High tide comes very close to the buildings, which I thought was pretty cool!

Another wonderful week

Our 2nd year at The Cure and again, it was a wonderful week. My little ones enjoyed skipping back and forth between the beach and the pool. The proximity to both makes this very easy. The unit provided everything we needed from extra sand buckets to a kitchen with all the tools needed for cooking. The owner was responsive to my request for early check-in which accommodated our earlier than expected arrival! Highly recommend!

Riggings Condo

My husband and I took our two children to Kure beach over Labor Day weekend. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The closeness to the beach and the pool was great with two young children. Also, being that the property was at the end (1/2 mile to aquarium and right next to Fort Fisher Park) it did not feel busy even though it was a holiday weekend. The condo had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy. The condo was cozy and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to stay here again if we come back to Kure Beach.

Great fall getaway!

The Cure is the perfect vacation spot! We loved the accommodations for a 3 night stay. Everything we needed was provided - kitchen is well stocked for a short stay with a small family, toilet paper and paper towels, laundry and dishwasher detergent were all provided, and plenty of extra linens available. Furniture and beds were comfortable and sufficient for our needs. The beach is nearby but from this condo you do have to go to one side or the other of the complex. Stairs are available down to the upper part of the beach but to get closer to the water you do have to walk down a slight sand hill which can be difficult for older guests or someone with mobility challenges. But once on the beach this is such a nice, private area that was not crowded at all during the week in October we visited. Kure Beach has wonderful restaurants and we highly recommend Freddie’s (make a reservation and try the pork chops!), Jack Mackerel’s and Oceanview (breakfast/brunch). During this visit, we visited the aquarium and took the ferry to Southport to shop - would recommend both! Really hope to spend lots more time at the Riggings and the Cure!

Nice cozy condo

Inside of condo was just like pics; nice, cozy. Appreciated the fun find of condiments etc. in cabinet. Very well cleaned also. Liked the pool being so close and convenient; was very disappointed in the beach/sand area. Debby had just come through and way too many crushed shells on beach made it impossible to enjoy the sand; but of course not the fault of the owner! Most of our time spent in the pool for this reason. One thing I noticed was as I was using the pull out sofa in living room, I noticed a ticking noise during the night and realized it was the clock that was hanging up on the wall near the kitchen. I would encourage the owner to move that clock to a more unused area or not so near the bed for your light sleepers. TV was a little sketchy to get channels we wanted. But overall nice, cozy, clean condo and we loved the first floor/parking lot convenience.

Very nice beach getaway

Lovely private beach area with charcoal grill and picnic table. Steps away from the pool and very short walk to ocean. Washer/dryer inside unit made for handy, convenient cleanup of endless towels my family used. Very spacious living room area with tv. My ONLY complaint or suggestion would be evaluate the cleaning service. Doesn't look like they clean behind furniture. I only noticed because my kid dropped something and it rolled behind the couch. When I pulled the couch out, it was obvious it -and underneath- had not received any love in a while. I then noticed all the furniture was the same way. Looks like they run a vacuum on viewable surface but not a mop. The section between the fridge and cabinet in the kitchen was rather a mess as well. I'm a bit OCD so it may not even be noticed by anyone else. The bathroom and kitchen surfaces were very clean. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Thank ylu! We loved the easy access to the beach with beautiful sunrises and great sea bird watching opportunities. As a family with young children, having easy access to the beach was priority. We appreciated having a comfortable warm bed, dishwasher, washer and dryer and bath tub. This was a perfect fit for our family eating in most nights.
