This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen! But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town. Great area to visit. It would have been nice to have mixed baths for partners to enjoy. Sulfur smell is also not for everyone as to me it smells close to sewage waters. Nonetheless. Clean and enjoyable experience for my second onsen village I visited
