"What a great little hotel! It's a little off the main street, so it's quiet and peaceful, but cross the main road, and you'll be right in the heart of the action in Takayama with restaurants, bars, and shops. Parking is quick and easily accessible as well. The hotel is well-appointed and clean, the staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, and they provided great tips. Highly recommended!"
"It's very close to the bus station, so it was perfect for getting there. The staff are very attentive and offer many amenities.
What we didn't like was that when we checked out, they charged us an extra fee for “use of the bathroom,” although the staff said it was a charge for being foreigners, which makes no sense. They should have warned us about this when we made the reservation."
