"We absolutely loved the week we spent at Katharineâs apartment! It was sparkling clean, had fantastic views, and was a nice cool sanctuary from the summer heat. Itâs also clearly a personal country apartment lovingly cared for. Katharine was a responsive host and all went smoothly checking in and out. Be aware the entrance is up a short but very steep hill with a steep set of stairs right inside the door. We enjoyed eating our meals on the little balcony and would happily stay here again any day."
"I stayed at the Cante Grillet for three days. Its exactly how I expected. What was once a horse farm converted to a guest house/hotel. The room was simple but very clean and spacious. The view from the Cante Grillet is spectacular. Breakfast is served outside overlooking the magnificant valley views. Patricia the host/owner was wonderful. She made us feel like we were home. She speaks very little english but made every effort to communicate using google translate. If youre looking for lots of amenities, this is not the place. If youre looking for an authentic Lacoste experience with lodging and a genuine host, then Cante Grillet is an excellent choice. Patricia also offered for my daughter, who is staying in Lacoste for two months, to contact her if she needs anything. Thats priceless!!"

"The property itself is very pretty , great pool and very good food - however the owners lack of English and organisation skills are very limited - There is a very good manager but he seems to do everything for her because she is so chaotic ! For those that remember Faulty towers , this is the French version - you need a car to get to the nearest towns and villages , they are a long walk ! My room was fine but it needs updating and the rooms vary alot - the better rooms are in the first building near reception - it was okay but Iâm not sure I would stay there again."
