Breathtaking views, otherwise expect sleepless nights ...........
Had we known that this property did not have air conditioning we would certainly not have booked. There was an air conditioning system, however when we asked the property manager for information we were informed that the owner did not permit clients to use it. My son is Type 1 diabetic and the intense heat plays havoc with his blood sugar levels and he ended up unwell for a number of days as the property was boiling hot (even with the doors open). The property Manager provided 1 electric fan which although was welcomed, was certainly not enough. Also there were no instructions on how to operate the TV, so no TV for 2 weeks for a 15 year old. Considering the amount paid to hire this villa, we were extremely disappointed that there was no air conditioning and would have even paid extra prior to booking in order to use the system. Furthermore no hair drier, so one had to be purchased. Enjoyed L'Escala, however the overall experience of the property was somewhat ruined due to the lack of air conditioning. I would advise any prospective clients to think twice before booking.
