"Staff was amazing and helpful from reception to the housekeeping/cleaners. Gym was small but functional and it is extra 15 euros to use the spa faculties next door which was being refurbished on our visit and quite busy. The breakfast was basic and the usual. There wasn’t any choice for vegetarians, be nice to have a veg sausage etc. Hard boiled egg was cold on ice and over cooked. Usually it’s warm, maybe it was meant to cold for summer. Apart from that everything was lovely. The location and people around the area. Hotel staff was great and friendly."

"The hotel is beautiful and well located. We included breakfast which had lots of options. Generally facilities were good with ice and water as well as a vending machine. Two issues, the first is minor in that house keeping staff would come and collect towels and clean the room but not provide new towels for several hours so if you returned to the room in the afternoon you had no towels but the more notable is the noise transfer within the hotel. We could here the bath and shower running and the toilet seat/lids being put down in the adjacent room and there were lots of noisy guests later at night, nothing which couldn’t be resolved with some good ear plugs but did cause disrupted sleep for a couple of nights until they were sourced."

"Check-in was smooth, and they were able to keep our bags until the room was available. But at both check-in and keycard pickup, the receptionists verbally reeled off a long list of facilities, including opening times for breakfast. Would have liked a QR code to scan with all the info on; they didn't even mention how to find the swimming pool. 9th floor room was modern and spacious, comfortable beds, but I could hear heels stomping around and chairs scraping up to midnight on Sunday. The lifts seem old; they are slow and very warm. On one day someone had pressed in and broke both buttons, so we were unable to call the lift. On our departure day, we asked if a later checkout was available and were able to get until 4 pm. I also mentioned the lack of information about the opening times of the VIP lounge, and was told there were signs at check-in (I was standing at the same desk at this moment), which had no signs."

"Had a great overnight stay at the Intercontinental before joining a cruise the next day. We arrived at the hotel at 12pm via taxi. The staff were on hand immediately to take our luggage. Our room wasn't ready so the hotel stored our luggage to allow us to go explore the city. Rooms were lovely, very well appointed and a great size with wonderful air conditioning! Roof bar and pool was great, offering views over the city. I never ate in the hotel so can't comment on this, however I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again in the future."

"I checked in after 10AM and room was ready! After a long cruise, they had no idea how happy this made me. My room was very clean, almost sterile! Shower was huge, tv stations basic cable but not so comfy bed. Loved their snack bar (lunch), rooftop bar for light appetizers and drinks (careful of the sun) and the restaurant for dinner-food was so good!! Gym was too small-I didn’t bother. And pool can be crowded especially families with kids. I have no idea what was within walking of the property. But scheduling my shuttle pickup for the airport insured my spot. Stay here bc 10 mins the airport."
