La FertĂ©-Beauharnais (Loir-et-Cher) Eglise Saint-BarthĂ©lemy. L’église originelle du XIIe siĂšcle a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©truite au XIVe siĂšcle pour enfin ĂȘtre reconstruite au XVIe siĂšcle. Elle est composĂ© d’un porche de charpente et d’un vaisseau unique lambrissĂ© s’achevant par un chƓur Ă  chevet plat. L'Ă©glise fondĂ©e en 1149, devint collĂ©giale Notre-Dame de la fertĂ©-Avrain en 1177. Au dĂ©but, 9 chanoines sĂ©culiers assuraient le culte. L'Ă©glise, qui connu les dĂ©sastres des guerres du Moyen-Âge, fut reconstruite et de nouveau consacrĂ©e le 23 janvier 1524, sous le vocable de Saint-BarthĂ©lĂ©my. La collĂ©giale fut supprimĂ©e en 1712 et transformĂ©e en Ă©glise paroissiale. Le caquetoir, auvent devant l'entrĂ©e de l'Ă©glise, est frĂ©quent en Sologne. Les paroissiens s'y rĂ©unissent pour bavarder Ă  l'abri.

"What a lovely hotel! We only stopped for one night but could clearly see that this would be a relaxing setting for a longer stay. We particularly appreciated the courtyard area with many tables for enjoying a drink, take-out meal, or board game with a family. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within the immediate vicinity. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast was excellent! "
