"This was our 1st experience in PR. This house was AMAZINGLY beautiful and really show cased the outdoor space!! It was VERY clean, high quality linens. Had a nice cook space. The space it self was STUNNING!! The outdoor space was PERFECTION!!!! We actually booked for the lounge net area, and it did not disappoint!! **Downfalls [we understand that somethings are out of anyones control so more of a FYI] -There was nothing "comfy" about the house. It is all cement: bed frame, entire bathroom so alot of sharp edges, the sitting area had maybe 3 inch foam with a canvas topper. When the floor had ANY moisture and you are bare foot YOU WILL FALL! In the master bath between the mirrors have open spaces straight to outside no glass or screen. Which allows natural to come inside the house. Lizards and frogs find there way inside daily. The doors are super heavy, difficult to open but again its a giant piece of glass of course its heavy. At no time did we feel unsafe, with that being said you are literally on top of a mountain alone. And thats scary to think about. Lets talk about the road. I had never been to PR so i was not aware of how tight and tiny the roads are. The drive to the house is TIGHT & STEEP!! Some areas are so steep our tires would slip while going up the incline! Only rent a SUV, our 4 door Nissan HARDLY made it, returned it for a SUV our 2nd day. Roads are unmarked and HARD to see the edge. The cell service on the way comes in an out as you go, dont rely on it. "

"We had an incredible stay in the house. House was beautiful, clean and well equipped for a group of 10. Communicaiton with the property manager was amazing, anytime any of us had any questions/doubts, we would text and get an almost immediate response offering a solution. Highly recommend, would stay again! "

"When I tell you that Casa Azul gave my family and I serenity! It did just that. I am a family of 6 and everyone had their own space and privacy. The land that the house sits have meaning to why Dan the owner named it the retreat. I stood for 2 weeks and I miss the house already. You will love your stay! My only issue is: there is only 1 tv throughout the entire home and with adult kids that was a problem. We had to rotate time slots - there was not enough time in the nights. lol but overall this was by far a wonderful experience living on the mountain for 2 weeks. Also the entrance to El Yunque rainforest is in the same direction to the home fascinating. "

Kitchen and bathroom are stocked with supplies to help with your stay. i.e. sunscreen, bug spray, seasonings, etc. Property is magnificent! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!"

"Wonderful location that is close to restaurants and grocery stores, but also very private. The grounds are serene and beautiful in the rainforest. The pool was a highlight for us. The room is comfortable and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Host was communicative but gave us our privacy. Would definitely stay again!"
