The people here we're lovely and very helpful. The place is a stones throw from the marina and lots of restaurants. Our bed was hard, towel radiator in the bathroom was rusty.

Great location for exploring La Rochelle

Nice hotel, friendly staff and an excellent location for exploring La Rochelle. The app did state that parking was 'available' but this was actually in one of the local town car parks and not connected to the hotel. We stayed in a secure multi storey car park under one of the squares which was reasonably priced and only 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Good location but somewhat basic. Parking limited.

Very convenient location although parking quite limited - a convenient car park nearby but difficult to get a space as very popular. Lack of air con in the room was a disappointment as it was very hot. I’d stay again but avoid hot and busy periods.

Hôtel rapport qualité prix bien. Superbement bien situé, près du port, des commerces et des restaurants. Notre chambre la 18, dernier étage, problème avec nos voisins les pigeons, qui font du bruit tôt le matin. Personnel très serviable.

Bon rapport et près du centre-ville

Bien reçu dès notre arrivée. Nous avons pu laisser nos valises des 13h. Un plan de la ville nous a été remis, ce qui nous a permis de garer notre voiture au parking municipal, et de nous diriger ensuite en ville. Tout fut parfait… Seul bémol pas de parking à l’hôtel. Bon rapport prix/service et à moins de 5 minutes du centre-ville et du vieux port avec ses tours.

We visited for a week as a family with our 14 yo son. La Rochelle is a great place to bring kids. The hotel is very well placed for the Old Port, restaurants, the beach and other attractions, all very walkable - we visited the Aquarium and the Maritime museum and did the Fort Boyard boat trip. We had the room for 4 with the balcony - which was a bonus, though there is some other outside space too. The room suited our needs - with comfy beds (a sofa bed for our son) and nice shower and only a short flight of stairs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If we ever go back, we will very probably stay there again.

Magnifique duplex au coeur de Royan

Belle surprise en poussant la porte de découvrir la grande chambre en duplex avec vue mer et très lumineuse. Clarté, espace ... et vue mer imprenable. Mais surtout un excellent accueil avec un personnel très serviable et arrangeant. Bref un vrai bel hotel, bien situé et où on n'a pas oublié ce que le mot service voulait dire. La famille y a passer de belles vacances et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.
