"No where in hotels.comndo they list that they only accept mainstream brick and mortar banks and treat all digital and European banks as suspect and won’t accept them I arrived at midnight. I was told my debit was “suspicious” that their pay terminals would take my money but is out of policy. And that the manager supported the decision So I couldn’t sleep Couldn’t use hotels because it was after midnight Couldn’t get other options. Because they just didn’t like the color of my card And hotels had no way to warn me that my card wouldn’t work because of an arcane Luddite view of cards that aren’t from the big 4. It’s ridiculous and shameful. Because I use an international bank doesn’t mean I can’t stay somehwere. I’m not just disappointed I was put in danger because I just chose to drive through the nights Shame on Phoenix and hotels for not communicating phoenix’s draconian policies"

"Pretty good hotel room for the price. The neighbor's landscaper started blowing at 4 am. The floor had a few toe nail clippings from a past guest. But overall good value. "

"The hotel was inexpensive, and the facilities are quite old. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep everything clean, but some areas need renovation. For example, the bathrooms need new grout, and the edges where the toilet meets the floor are old and cracked. During my stay, I also saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor, which I believe came from under the toilet. The breakfast was continental—cereal, milk, bagels, and coffee—nothing impressive. However, for the price, it was acceptable. Out of the three employees I interacted with at the front desk, two were friendly, but one was not. He did not respond to my greetings or acknowledge my thanks for the service. "
