"A very comfortable gite with plenty of room in an idyllic quiet setting. Friendly and helpful host and lots of privacy of you wish it. Good local walks. Interesting bastide towns and villages nearby and vineyards to visit."

"Not as advertised! The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Those are the only good things I can say. I checked in late at night and had to return to reception to ask for towels because there were none at all in the room. Air conditioning did not work and when I went back to reception again and asked for a different room the receptionist told me that no rooms in the entire hotel had functioning air con. It's a budget hotel and I didn't expect luxury but I do expect the room to be as advertised and the lack of air conditioning is unforgivable. I was likewise unimpressed that neither of the two receptionists I spoke to could speak English even though the hotel is advertised to have multilingual staff with English specifically mentioned. It's the false advertising I object to, not the actual absence of language skills. I've complained to Expedia but they tell me if could take months to correct the way the place is advertised."

"Lovely peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. The kids enjoyed the pool. We really relaxed for 2 weeks. Very comfortable home from home and a wonderfully warm welcome (despite our terrible French)"
