Great stay.

We had a great stay. The hotel is new, clean, and up to date. The beds were comfortable and showers had a rainfall option. The rooftop pool and bar had great views and good drink options. Everyone was so nice who worked there and helpful when planning our days!!

Our stayed was delightful. Staff are very helpful and friendly, location is good if you have a car. A big supermarket is just down the street, also the food at the terrace was pretty good, I had a steak and it was delicious, including cocktails. I will come back here again for sure

The Hotel is all updated, great service and nice location and amenities but they don’t recognize our Hilton points because we reserved with Expedía. It’s the first time something like this happened to us. We should go to another hotel but we pick this one because of our Hilton points. The other think I don’t like was the room temperature is set so you can’t lower it more than 19 decrees Celsius and that is not acceptable

I had a comfortable stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel was clean and check-in was smooth. The restaurant was nice. Although I didn’t get to sit and eat breakfast at the restaurant since it was too crowded that day, the breakfast options were solid.

Amazing Stay

DoubleTree Lagoa is truly amazing. The hotel front office staff were so kind and accomodating. The location was wonderful since it was a short drive to most destinations. As we were staying during the first week in Septemer, the outdoor pool was also open. It was beautiful as well as the bar/lounge area. We ate lunch one afternoon near the pool and it was truly relaxing. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, lots of local cheese and bread. Love it when a hotel highlights their agricultural roots. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel in Lagoa.

Beautiful hotel and the staff was lovely. I would have liked some more menu options for Gluten Free. The facilities and location were great and very convenient. I would definitely stay there again!

excellent staff, beautiful property and amenities, very nice included breakfast with lots of options. On site restaurant was markedly more expensive than any other restaurants we saw on the island, as the only small complaint.

Excelent location. Great rooms with an amazing view from the sea and mountains. Breakfast buffet excellent. If you come to the restaurant don’t be in a hurry. Nice swimmig pool , spa and very kind staff at the reception . No itens in the frigobar.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed at! From the minute we walked in the door the service was 10 out of 10. Room was beautiful! We went up to the bar and the two men that were working were so informative and shared places to go an check out while visiting. The breakfast in the morning was nothing but AMAZING! I have never seen such a spread from made to order omelettes to freshly made yogurt to homemade granola! wow! Wow wow! We will definitely return!!!

Brand new hotel - very quiet even though it’s right next to a hospital. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. 10 minute drive from Lagoa to Ponta Delgada with a taxi fare of EUR 12-15. Amazing view from rooftop pool. And of course you get cookies 😊 Our only complaint was the leak from the shower stall onto the floor in the bathroom.

Kitchen at the pool is terrible for Some sandwiches takes 1 hour waiting time. Same playlist on and on. Reception people are not friendly. Breakfast was nice and the services are good.

It was a brand new property, was very clean and nice. The service was very slow, if you asked for a thing it took a long time get it. Being a new hotel we felt the staff was not that well trained. Parking was very easy and plenty of it but the location was not that great.
