Awesome view! We really enjoyed it, when the weather was nice sitting on the balcony was great. The Villa had comfortable beds and everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Villa Sal was a great experience. The house was nicely decorated with beautiful views of the water and swimming area. A great location for walking, swimming and good local restaurants. I would highly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful 8 days at Villa Sal. The house was spacious, beautifully designed with every amenity. We loved that it was off the beaten path and immersed in the local village. The ability to find parking close by, small markets and the pool was an extra bonus. The house was a quick 15 minute drive to Ponta Delgado and Franco do Campo. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a true San Miguel experience.

Perfect location for exploring the island. Easy parking nearby. Great restaurants in walking distance. The Villa was comfortable and cozy —just right for the two of us, outfitted with everything we needed, and the host was responsive. Aside from the great view of the little harbor, we loved being surrounded by so many birds, listening to their singing and hearing their wings fluttering on the roof. We were absolutely charmed by the experience and couldn’t have been happier with this accommodation for our week in Sao Miguel. We will stay longer next time!

A great location with easy access to the entire island, and nice to be away from the crowds. If you prefer to be closer to locals than tourists when you travel then this is a great location. The home was welcoming, and great for our family with kids (9/11/13). The retracting balcony doors with ocean views were amazing. Initially the parking was difficult but after a day we figured out where a few of the hidden little lots were if we could not get close street parking, never more than a few minute walk. The natural ocean pools just up the street, the ocean walk just down the street and a few great restaurants ( O Rui, Alma Latina were standouts!)

Beautiful home with amazing views of the Atlantic outside the bedroom and living room. A true seaside villa! We were so grateful to have this space- it was perfectly accommodating for our family of 5 and allowed space and access to a kitchen to store grocery items for light snacking/cooking. Enjoyed sleeping to the sound of crashing waves and basking in the sun and coastal breezes on the balcony. Highly recommend!

View on the sea was awesome. With the concept you always live outside. On the other hand, it’s quite noisy environment either the harbour and the swimming pool nearby.
