Lovely Aparthotel

Great location in town. It was nice to have a large living area with a kitchen. Friendly front desk staff. Be sure to ask for a room not facing the town square as it gets loud at night with people arguing and generally being belligerent.

Very roomy, clean, wonderful staff — Magda is a great ambassador for Casa Margo, Lagos, and Portugal — even providing a yoga mat for my wife. The kitchen worked well with Nespresso maker, hot water heater, toaster, induction top, oven and dishwasher. Housekeeping was efficient and discrete. The property is centrally located in Old Town great for sightseeing, walking the boardwalks on both sides of the harbor, and plenty of interesting places to eat; we liked getting away from the harbor to eat. It’s a bit of a hike to get to Intermarche for groceries; Pinge Doce is closer and a flat walk.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Right outside the doorstep were amazing restaurants and shops, while in the room it was quiet and comfortable. Our family loved our stay and would gladly stay again next time we are in Lagos.

The property has the best location and is designed very well. Our room was always cleaned well and the staff was very friendly and responsive on WhatsApp. Our only issue is that they often did not have enough beach towels available for everyone, which was an issue because we had planned to go to the beach everyday.

Very pleased with our stay here. The room was very clean and right in the centre of the action while still being quiet. I would come back here for sure! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They sent us a map with highlighted locations to make navigating Lagos easier.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in the off-season in mid December. We had a huge apartment on the third floor overlooking the Square. It was stylish and clean and filled with light. We absolutely loved everything about this place, the service the room, the area. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Margô!

We had an amazing stay with Casa Margo end of May, we had an apartment with direct access to the pool area which the kids truly enjoyed. I also participated in a complementary yoga class on the rooftop terrass one morning. We were looking for a smaller, more personal hotel as a contrast to a large resort, yet with pool for the kids. The Casa Margo was a perfect fit for us. The hotel is very clean and decorated beautifully. The staff was very friendly, and even though there is not a 24h reception, there are towels and other things you might need made available if needed. The hotel is also located perfectly if you want to experience the old town and the cobbled streets. We can highly recommend!

Our stay at Casa Margô was perfect! The location is right in the heart of old town Lagos. You're seconds from restaurants and shops. Everything you need is within walking distance. The beach is around 15 minutes away. The rooms are beautiful, nice finishings, well stocked kitchenettes, perfectly clean. The staff was warm and welcoming. We loved everything and wouldn't change a thing. We hope to return here one day. Loved our week here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Margo. Our favorite aspect of the hotel is that it is situated in the center of the old town on a square The accommodations were modern and very clean. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking if desired. There were small touches that made a difference: fresh oranges and orange juice, local honey and almonds in our room. The only item that would have been very helpful is a bathrobe since the rooms either overlook the square or pool. The front desk ladies were very helpful in providing recommendations and a map of spots in the area to eat and visit. . 4-stars for the daily service only b/c a few times water & coffee items were not replenished. Also sheets/towels were not replaced on 3rd day, otherwise the daily cleaning was fine. We are already looking forward to our next stay with them. Thank you for making our visit special.

A lovely central place to stay.

Superbly located right in the centre of Old Town. Beautiful reburbishment of a period building, very skandy/Hamptons. Pool area is small, room for one family at a time but nice to know it’s there. No usable space outside of the room itself. Lift is quirky - goes from first floor to second floor. So our room was on the third (top) floor. We ended up giving into the exercise of climbing stairs. Anything not working in the room is fixable. The real pearl of this venue is the staff. From receptionist to cleaner they are so friendly and helpful. It is a joy to interact with them. Very good value for what you get in Casa Margô. We will return.
