"This is a very promising dog friendly hotel sadly let down by a few niggly decorative issues and fairly slow service. Likewise the restaurant has a great menu but whilst we both ordered very different dishes, both were saltier than the shorts of a Dead Sea fisherman. But the grounds are nice in a natural rural state and parking is plentiful"

"Great location, but the hotel used to allow smoking, and it still smells of cigarettes. Fortunately, the LOOKEN hotel next door is managed by the same staff, and they upgraded us to a much better room (for an additional cost). "

"Had an all-around good stay. The rate was competitive, the room large, bright and clean, and the breakfast buffet was great - and inexpensive. There was enough parking at the hotel. You can walk to disturb downtown in half an hour."
