  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We like the location just by the lake and very convenient parking right in front of your room , the staff was very nice they upgraded our room ,we did not like the walls were so thin that you can hear the next room , but overall we stayed two nights and it was very nice and we will go back for summer !

We had a wonderful time at Scotty’s. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. They have fire pits by the pool and lounge area that opens up directly to the water/docks. The rooms were also clean. I left my ring and the staff were amazing to ship it to me. Truly a magestic place in nature with the best staff. I would absolutely go back!
