  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Very clean, very family owned resort. The Helluva deli next door is not to be missed! Pool is gorgeous and so clean. You have to walk down a steepish hill to the lake but it’s beautiful and they have a telephone to use if you want a golf cart ride back up. They have a keurig coffee maker and small fridge and microwave. Very close to the downtown, I recommend taking a ferry cruise down there for sure. Lots of fun mini golf courses around. We went to Antonio’s to eat, it was very good with a pleasant staff.

The resort is beautiful! The rooms we had were super clean and the staff was very friendly! The lake is spectacular and the amenities offered were above and beyond what we expected. They had fire pits, basketball and pickleball courts, and a playground. Wish we were staying longer than a night. Definitely would go back.

We had a beautiful stay . The only thing I can say if u have to check in late you’re in trouble because the office closes. Luckily my son got there before me and was able to get my and my other sons key to the room . But otherwise it was spotless clean and when I met the staff so kind and courteous .

The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We enjoyed staying a little farther outside of the main town, as we enjoyed the quietness and privacy of a private beach and exclusive pool area.
