Privately situated beautiful log cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by mountain views and winter lake views. Access to private beach, lakes, river and waterfall- 10 minute walk away or parking available at our beach. Cabin has a large, fully enclosed wrap around deck as well as a fenced in yard perfect for little ones or dogs, along with a firepit for cool mountain evenings.
The cabin is privately located inside the gates of Riverbend, a private mountain community featuring two lakes, riverwalk, waterfall and the Old Swimming Hole. Riverbends' private beach at Mirror Lake has a fishing pier, a large pavilion overlooking the lake with rocking chairs, barbeque pits and beautiful mountain views (bathrooms also). Walk across the road from the beach to the Broad River ( with a waterfall and small rapids (perfect for tubing!). Enjoy fishing from the pier, swimming in the lake or playing in the river!
Lake Lure in western North Carolina has much to do! Lake Lure beach offers the Lake with a beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains , a childrens' play area, kids water slide and lifeguards on duty .There are a number of golf courses in area and also putt putt, tennis, horseback riding, a gem mine, hiking at Chimney Rock Park , zip lining, lakeside and riverside dining, white water rafting and much more. Nearby attractions include Asheville/ Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Mountains , Hendersonville, wineries, Dollywood, Great Smokey National Park, Grandfather Mountain, Sliding Rock, North Carolina Arbortum and so much more, Also, newly built Tryon International Horse Equestrian Center (TIEC) is 15 miles away.

We loved this cabin! It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location with expansive views. Excellent area for Logan (our Golden) to run around and explore. The beach area was quite nice as well. We will definitely stay again in the near future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful cabin

Great location inside a private neighborhood, residents are so nice - always waving to each other when on the roads and on the trails. Host communicated great and the trip was made better because we were able to bring our dog with us - loved everything about the location!

Amazing time

We had a wonderful time! Loved the secluded neighborhood. So quiet and peaceful, yet close to grocery and fun at lake lure. The cabin was cozy, clean, and fast communication with our host. We would stay here again if it was available.

Relaxing cabin

This beautiful cabin is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway! The photos can not capture the calm and quiet we enjoyed. Our host was very responsive and helped make our experience worry free. We definitely plan to visit again.

Great location and pet friendly

Spent a relaxing week at the cabin with our family including the dog. Enjoyed hiking Chimney Rock, some kayaking on lake lure, and swimming at the old swimming hole. Cabin was well equipped and very comfortable. Loved the wrap-around porch. Fenced-in yard was also great for the dog.

Literally loved everything about this cabin! It’s a perfect scenery, a beautiful drive and has everything you need is in the cabin. Very happy with our pick and would love to come back very soon. Literally felt like we were right at home!

A wonderful Labor Day weekend

We absolutely love this place and everything about it. Great location and perfect accommodations for our family and small dog. When we have had very minor issues, we got immediate response and help from Aaron. My parents just fell in love with the place last year, as did we, so we'll definitely be back!

Mountain StayCation

Very cozy cabin, easy to find. Had a nice deck and friendly interior. Very clean, easy to use directions on items. Had everything we needed and felt right at home. Loved walking around the community. Pretty waterfall 8 min walk from home.

Wonderful view

Great House and Location!

This house was perfect for a group of 4! We loved the location, in the quiet mountain community of Riverbend which included a beautiful lake and nature trail. The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the wrap around porch and fenced in yard so our dogs could sniff and play without worry. We truly had a wonderful fall weekend away and would go back to this cozy cabin anytime!

Great Cabin Getaway

What a great cabin and community. The house was great with fenced in yard, wraparound porch, and plenty of space. The neighborhood with the lake and swimming hole were great for beating the summer heat and for activity close to the cabin. Hiked right out the door along the gravel road for quite a workout. Definitely recommend!

Great getaway!

Amazing house and great communication with owers! It is really tucked away down a long dirt road, so it's perfect if you have all you need and want a quiet weekend. But if you arrive and realize you need milk, you have a long trek back to the nearest store! :)

Perfect Mountain Cabin

My brother, his wife and I had a great time with our two dogs. The yard is dog fenced with access to the large wrap around porch, which ours loved! I had to make them come inside! The cabin is spacious, VERY CLEAN, and comfortable with a great view. The beds were comfortable and everything was in good working order including the grill. We will definitely be booking here again! Perfect for access to the Blue Ridge area.

Vacation with Friends

My husband and I invited a couple from our church to join us for a 5 day stay at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for what we needed, a few days of a little fun, peace and quiet. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock and the fact that it's located inside the private gated community of Riverbend was also a plus. The only improvements I would recommend would be trimming a few trees for a better view of the mountain vistas and the lake below. Future tenants should know it's a bit of a drive from the cabin to the small beach area. The roads in the community are gravel only, but are in good condition.

An amazing property!

I was looking for a comfortable retreat with a view, close to a lake and a small town and wow…did I find the perfect cabin! I communicated a few times with the owners and always received prompt responses. The cabin was immaculate, well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay fun including games. The beds were so comfortable and the entire property was just what we were looking for in a vacation home. We spent early mornings and late evenings on the wrap around porch drinking coffee but our days were filled with trips to Chimney Rock and the old swimming hole! We have 2 small pups who enjoyed the fenced in area and loved romping on the porch. This property was just a perfect place for our family. We’ll definitely be coming back again if the owners will have us! 😊

Beautiful place, perfect for the pups too!

My best friend and I brought our dogs here for a week stay. The dogs had a great time at the cabin and especially walking the community and playing in the water and rocks near the waterfall. We had beautiful morning views, and the cabin was the most well stocked cabin we’ve ever been in! We were a little scared of the giant spiders on the deck, but after assurance from the property manager that they were not harmed um (and offering to get rid of them) we got used to them as added decor :) I can’t say enough positive things about the responsiveness of the property manager… especially when our car wouldn’t start the day we were leaving… the property manager sent his father over in 10 minutes to jump start our car! Would def recommend!

Beautiful neighborhood and home! We enjoyed the beach area with our children. It was very peaceful and quiet. The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Communication with owners was great and location was convenient! Highly recommend.
