"The hotel needs update bad! When you walked in front door, nice smell but the carpet in hall and stairs needs to be replaced. Also, no elevator, just stairs. Luckily, it was only 2 stories. Our room was clean. No hair in tub or floor in bathroom. Walls in room needs to be painted. Breakfast was not the best, cereal, waffles, not too fresh fruit, bagels and bread. Great location for what we needed for baseball tournament . The bed was comfortable. We have stayed at other Microtel's and this one did not rate near as high as the others. We had trouble with our tv and manager did fix it."

"I am writing to formally demand a resolution regarding my recent stay, which was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I have had in 55 years. The condition of the room upon arrival was unacceptable. It had not been properly cleaned, forcing me to request sheets and make the bed myself. Basic functionality and safety were also lacking: one television did not work, the smoke detector was not mounted on the wall, and the in-room phone was unusable due to a missing cord—requiring me to use my personal cell phone to contact the front desk. Equally concerning was the complete lack of professionalism from your staff. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was treated with indifference. At one point, while I was actively being assisted, the front desk employee attempted to help another customer mid-conversation, effectively dismissing my issue. I had to firmly redirect her attention just to continue addressing the problem. This level of neglect—both in room standards and customer service—is unacceptable by any reasonable standard. Cleanliness, safety, and basic guest support are not optional amenities; they are fundamental expectations. Given the extent of these failures, I am requesting a full or significant refund for this stay. I expect a response outlining how you intend to resolve this matter. If this issue is not addressed appropriately, I will escalate my complaint through corporate channels and public platforms. I look to your immediate attention."

"Breakfast was not what I was hoping for. Eggs were premade round circles, sausage links were not very good. Only white toast. No fruit or yogurt. They did have frosted flakes and raisin bran and a waffle maker. We opted for Burger King across the street."

We initially mistook the front desk staff for a homeless person lounging on the lobby couch; he then came around the counter to assist us, only to let out a massive, nauseating belch while checking us in. ​The building is in terrible condition. While it looks like they are preparing for renovations, the state of the rooms is unacceptable. We dealt with stained carpets, walls, and furniture, a broken desk chair, and worst of all, a blood stain on our bed covers. The bathroom was equally problematic, with broken light switches and a sink that leaked everywhere. To top it off, the entire place reeks of cigarettes, sweat, and marijuana, and the 'breakfast' is just a mediocre snack bar. Save your money and stay elsewhere."
